Good morning all, nice to hear from you Suzie and 3for hope you are both OK.
Wingo it sounds like you were working at Corries knicker factory :rotfl:. Hope Bro is doing OK. Yes curtains are for DD1's new house. She has 2 big windows in the lounge which would be very expensive to buy anything good. Chester-Le-St market has lovely curtain material on a Friday and its all £2 a metre so only cost £34 for 2 sets of curtain and blackout lining. Have always sewn and used to make lots when the kids were younger.
Yes I agree with you Sheils it is harder to get the weight off as you get older its always an up hill struggle. Not long until you go away though now, I expect you are looking forward to it. Is is just you two going?
Thanks again firefly, you are an :A
Alfie, I always find it easier to dig when its been raining as well. Glad puddy is OK used to love the tales you told us.
Indie, its funny how the dogs can hear the thunder before us, Lottie hides behind the toilet when its going to thunder.
Have a lovely day everyone.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Glad you finally got your rain Alfie!Lots of rain through the night here too. I left the nice clean paddling pool out ready to be filled again and now it's full of mucky rain water!
I think our dog must have got scared by thunder through the night too indie, I could smell wee when I came down and he was acting as though he had done something so I think he's weed in his bed! Good luck with the dentist today
Have you seen that new mag fire**fly called OMG? I only saw it last week when I went to buy mams mags. I will have to have a read of it to see if there's any comps in! Love the pics
Not long now then sheils for your holsMe and DD1 are going to start doing exercises in the house to tone up a bit. Not that DD needs to she's as skinny as a rake but her joints ache a lot more lately.
That's lovely of you Sylvia doing your DD's curtains. I have a large bay window too so mine are around 90 drop but I don't close mine only the blinds as the sofa sits in the bay window.
Last day to go for work. It will be a bit of an emotional day too as the head teacher and some other staff are retiring and they are all lovely.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

hiya wingo, yes, I've been getting it since it first came out,
they have giveaways every week & comps a bit like
TAB's only not as good
I won the big box of Whitworths snacks from OMG
around the 3rd issue I think it was :j
unfortunately we're not allowed to post the answers of the
comps on MSE as they asked for them not to be posted
so I send the EF in each week,
I send for the giveaways each week as well 'cause
they are just email entry :dance:please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Hi everyone
Great to catch up on all the news. DH and I have been out and about since Wednesday.
Ho dear about weight. Mine has been up up up. It did go down in the spring rushing from DD1 to station but it's back on now. We went to go for a walk yesterday but it rained hard.
I think Sheils has a great idea of going out to a really nice place and shopping there. Alfie too going to another village little things can be very pleasant. Katie is so good at organising outings.
Thanks everyone we had a good wedding anniversary. DH's cold was a lot better and he's nearly all clear now.
Wingo hope you have a good summer break with your family. Sorry to hear your brother has problems but from what you say it could take a few months for everything to settle. Do hope things pick up really soon for him.
Two days with no comps. I'm thinking of having a few weeks off. It does become addictive and my hands have been hurting with arthritis. I have been so lucky.
Indie well done on your wins. Strange how things come together like the cleaning stuff. I've won lost of tickets and children's books.
Sylvia hope you are not yo busy with GK's in holidays and you get to enjoy them.
FireFly and Alfie hope you have some great time in your gardens enjoying the fruits of your labours.
Suzie wish you all the best with your move.
Mclovin hope you have a first win soon.
Rose brilliant that hospital have given you all clear with shoulder.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and wish everyone good luck0 -
Good luck with moving in your mums Suzie
xx
Sorry to hear you've been having trouble with your arthritis leanfun, and hope DH is feeling much better now xx Sounds like you've been busy!
I didn't realise it had been out a while fire**fly. I shall give it a try with the EF's, I used to love sending lots of postal comps off.
I've just won a gymnastics goody bag on fbMy daughter is pleased. I saw on their fb after they told me I had won that there was a signed foam hand that was signed by the famous gymnasts; Beth Tweddle, Louis Smith and Max Whitlock. I loved watching them in the Olympics. I posted that I was happy to have won it signed by them but I think I made a boo boo and I think that was a different comp so I deleted my post!
Still, I'm happy to have won the goody bag :j
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

hi sheils, no i'd done the issue number right but
forgot to change the issue number on the list ie:
Issue 29 page 5. 20 x £50 4-Squared: SATE
Issue 29 page 5. 20 x £50 Mega Snap: 45
Issue 29 page 12. £3000 Big Bonanza: DIARY
etc..
i'd left the Issue 28 on from last week!!
it needs changing each week as I usually do but
somehow i'd forgotten to
prob rushing too much as usual!!
so i was quite surprised when I got the message from
someone on another comp site to let me know,
which was very good of them :T
