Sorry you are feeling so poorly princesskitty, I agree cabbage leaves are supposed to be brilliant as they are said to help, isnt the advice to also carry on feeding as that supposed to help as well? Bearing in mind my youngest is 15 next month I'm a bit out of touch with things I've that now. But hugs and get well vibes for you.

Yes, I was advised to carry on feeding when I had it.

Peppa Pig, thank you, thank you so much for going to all that trouble for me. I will use a lot of them in the hamper. Thomas Land.... how that takes me back, DGS loved it when he went (4years old,) and l bet it has improved loads since then.
Princess Kitty, hope that you are feeling better, l'd not heard of cabbage leaves helping, but if it works, do it! The Mcmillan nurse was lovely, DD said, so she has an ally there.
Mrs Moneypenny thanks for the recipe, l was going to try to make it today, but DGS and I scoffed the maltesers last night.
Right, the washing is done, so I best go and peg it out . xxx

    Morning everyone :)

Nothing much to report here but yesterday I went and got two birthday cards and a mothers day card so that is me sorted with regards to forthcoming birthdays.

The weather was wild (strong wind & heavy rain) up here yesterday so I was glad to get home. It is hard work walking in strong wind!

Hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday :)

Thank you Feisty and mrs-moneypenny, now you mention it I think i'd heard that about cabbage leaves before! Unfortunately I didn't see this in time, but luckily it has improved a lot over the last couple of days.

mrsinvisible i'm glad the Macmillan nurse helped, they do an amazing job.

freespirit a certain someone occupies all of my time now but before that I used to have days like that when I felt restless but didn't want to do anything! I checked my Pinterest board as I thought I might have that recipe but I don't so will have to look it up. Bless your DS, he sounds amazing, he is a real credit to you. I do hope you're not ill and that a good nights sleep has sorted you out.

3forholidays you're in Scotland aren't you? The weather can be wild up there! Best you stay in all warm and cosy. ;)

Well wiggle's grumpiness is now explained - he's got a cold. We've had an awful two nights with him and it now all makes sense. It's so awful seeing him struggling but he has had one before so we know we can get through it. I am feeling better from the mastitis but fear I may get this cold next. Oh well not the end of the world!

PrincessKitty Top marks for remembering that I'm from Scotland! :) It is windy here again this evening. Definitely weather for staying indoors. Hopefully it will have died down by the morning commute.

Freespirit How lovely of your DS to bring flowers. :) Hope that you are feeling better today.

    MrsI you're very welcome.

Princess Kitty, glad you're feeling better now - hope you don't go down with Wiggle's cold.

Freespirit - sounds like you may have what DS had so hope it goes very quickly. Must say DS is so thoughtful - he's a great advert for your parenting skills :)

The day at Thomas Land was a great success which I think has given DD and DSIL a boost too. Littlest DGS actually slept until half past five last night too so fingers crossed he's on the mend (or his teeth are through).
Splendid surprise for me today too - DSIL is treating me and DD to a mother and daughter day at Champneys next Monday for Mothers' Day. Really looking forward to it :T

Sounds lovely peppa, hope you and your DD both enjoy your champ eye day,
I've been mostly tidying and decluttering today. So nothing very exciting but lots of space created.
