:bdaycake:HAPPY BIRTHDAY MURIE :bdaycake:
PRINCESSKITTY he has his moments :rotfl::rotfl:
MRSMONEYPENNY oh that must hurt trying to breathe in the cold air, at least an hour goes quite quick then you can be back in the warm. I hope DD2 is keeping well, not long to go now.
PIXTOTTS DD1 is currently in a nice hot bath with aching limbs after a gym session haha. Yes im still at it into my 6th week nowOh i cant wait to hear your tales of that wedding
I hope you are pleased with your hair.
KIWI i havent got any willpower either but he takes no nonsense and nags and nags me so its better to get to my goal while he is at work and then he cant nag me when he comes home:D
RUTHHONEY haha thats funny i was watching the news tonight and they were interviewing a young mum and all i could notice was she still had a christmas cushion on her sofa :rotfl:I have finished The Chocolate Lovers Club it was really good i really enjoyed it though it does make you want chocolate so i warn you now, need to start on the next chocolate lovers one now.
IRISHROSE oh that is fab, so glad you managed to get the one you want at a bargain price#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -

fabulous I'm really glad you got sorted. Your DD will be so happy.mrs-moneypenny New thrift that is brill advice that kiwi gave you about wedding photos and it being YOURS and your DHs day.
ThanksI would suggest asking friends to let you see their photos was going to say disposable camera on the tables but they are a bit old hat now aren't they?
We put a few blank CDs in envelopes on our tables and a wee note with each one asking everyone to take photos on their digital cameras and would they upload them to the CD and return/post them back so we could have lots of photos of our day from different perspectives. we got some really great photos and a younger cousin got all creative and made us a wedding video montage of all the photos with our first dance song playing in the background.
freespirit66 hehe sounds like a good plan to me - sometimes putting things off only eats away at you as you still have it to do and it hangs over you like a big black cloud but if you just get it out of the road you feel so much better (and yes less nagging will be involved too)

pixtotts they really are expensive"" We had two the other year a week apart and the only people going to both was me and OH so I wore the exact same outfit to both. I then just brought a new dress for a wedding last year which i'm wearing to one in a few weeks and have got the same accessorises as the first three weddings
:money:
kiwi, mrsm, ruth thank you all for the advicewe have gone with one of the top photographers in our area and there is two of them. Her and her husband are lovely and we are sitting down to make a list in a few months time for them too follow (they asked us to do this
) we have also splashed on one of the top videographers around us. OH wasn't sure at first but I told him we were only going to have this day once and it goes so fast and he does now agree :j
Not much Christmas related stuff going on here, although I do keep having a look for hamper ideas and things on pinterest.
Hugs all roundChristmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Irishrose Was it the 2ds or 3ds you got? If its the 3ds I am very very jealous as my store, nor tesco direct (or that i can see) have it at that price! I thought I had done well with ordering the 3dsxl with Mario game for £119!! (White as requested by dd2) Pick it up tomorrow, and its only the same price as I was looking to pay for normal 3ds with no games. But £49.99 is an absolute steal! Lucky you!
JJ Happy Birthday xx
Well, half way through my first week back full time in 3 years!
I'm tired, but absoloutly loving it, and so looking forward to knowing I never have to work another Saturday, or finish at 10pm on a Friday!
Edited to say I found the £49.99 3ds... Its now sold out :-(
Well done on such a fantastic bargain! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -
Belated birthday wishes to Murie, hope you had a good day.
Looks like the wedding plans are going brilliantly new thrift, ours was eons ago now but there are bits we remember like yesterday, most of all it was fun. Only the other week one of the neighbours said it doesn't seem that long ago she was looking out of her bedroom window late one night and watched DH scoop me up in his arms at the top of our drive and carry me into the house! I'd kept my dress on for the whole day and we decided to walk home from the venue after it had finished and we'd said our goodbyes to the last of the guests we must have looked a picture wandering home with me in a meringue LOL most of all I wouldn't swap a minute of that day or the 30+ years that have followed. He most definately is my soulmate and the other half that makes me complete.SPC~12 ot 124

IrishRose12 wrote: »Oh tell e about it. Nothing's booked yet, but it looks like well be booking with with Thomas Cook or Thomson. It'll be Thomas Cook if Thomson don't fly from Belfast or Dublin :rotfl:
Onsite is out of the question for us unfortunately as we just can't afford them, and we won't be eating out as much as normal, we like to go self catering when we go to spain, and enjoy some down time on holiday, so we'll just be going to the supermarkets most days to stock up. We will ofcourse be having the odd treat in each park we visit and maybe the odd night.
Parking or fuel costs isn't a worry for us as we won't be driving - well we can't and neighbours don't want to :rotfl: So we're staying on International drive.
If we can get the same package deal that Thomson are offering for this July then for 2 weeks flights accommodation and park tickets included we can get for £1600 per adult, which is doable for us :T
We'll have to wait and see how it goes. Savings are going well and just have to wait to July/August until we can actually book it now.
So Christmas needs to be done for us soon, and we won't be spending as much on it. We're now trying to decide whether to let Santa tell the kids they are going, or hold off and not let on till they actually get there lol.
MS G when you get all set up could you send me the links to your pages if you don't mind? Wouldn't mind a nosey:ofreespirit66 wrote: »Evening everyone, i cant decide if this week has flown or draggedi am still doing well on my goals for this year except for 2, i will type them out and you will guess straight away (its the one to do with cleaning
) i made Chocolate Mousse tonight one of the recipe goals DD1 said it was the best one she had ever tasted but i thought it was so so, pretty average!
My goals for this year are:
Pinterest - make/bake one pin a month
Online shopping delivery plan - got a years free with ocado
Declutter at least 10 things every 2 weeks
Good Food recipe a month
Cookbook recipe a month
Have as much fun with Max, see as often as i can
Clean oven once a month
Wipe oven weekly
Always have a reading book on the go, try and read all of Carole Matthews books by the end of the year
Supermarket savings stamps for christmas 2015-£10 a month
Buy bargains when you see them
Donate to FoodBank regularly at least once a month
MSGIGGLEWICK oh i bet your dog loved all the mudgood luck with the etsy shop, i hope it goes well! You must be relieved that your mum has had a diagnosis so quickly and that it isnt life threatening, i hope your mum will still be able to carry on her work if she wants to, it will be very hard learning to live with it, how has she taken it?
IRISHROSE you reminded me of when we took our kids to Lapland, we booked it for christmas day without telling them, then we woke them up very early and said Father Christmas had had a problem bringing their stocking so had invited them to his house to see him, they were sooooooo excited i can still see their facesthen while they were getting in the car i put their stockings on their beds and when we got home they thought it was magic that Father Christmas had brought their stockings anyway, so i think it will be more magical surprising them on christmas day with the news
Morning ,
Well its bloody freezing here ,we have no hot water or central heating .A pipe sprung a leak late yesterday and the council couldn't come out straight away they are due today.
After months of nightly vomiting the GP has decided it might be an idea to try an anti sickness drug and last night it worked a treat , im just a bit peeved it wasn't suggested earlier.
I have started my Christmas shopping at last just a few bits for dd but its a start.
I usually look forward to Mondays BUT im having a tooth root pulled out  .It has worked it way through my gum since the tooth was pulled on 08 my old dentist never wanted to do anything about it but ive finally got around to moving practices and the new one says she can do it .
Thank you, finally found the now out of stock one. Lucky you, what a bargain! Saw the £59.99 one, but dh convinced me to get the xl instead (something about resolutions and being easier on the eyes - I switch off when he speaks technology lol).
Check us out though, main Xmas gift sorted before the end of Feb, now that's organized! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0
