Just been shopping again! Have order a Jasper Conran jacket from Debenhams for my godson, reduced from £40 to £12, so not quite as good a bargain as MsGiggles, but I'm pleased, just hope that it comes in.
Also ordered a make-up palette full of bits from Halfpriceperfumes, using code, reduced from £18 to £1, although they do charge £5 delivery so you need to factor that in on cost. Make up is probably not brilliant, however, I'm sure my soon to be 15 year old niece will be more than happy. All in all, picked up up about £50 worth for £10 inc delivery.A smile costs little but creates much0 -

afternoon all. popped into the coop pharmacy this morning yankee candle gift sets along with other christmas things were reduced to half price so i got a lovely set of christmas tarts. not sure how much they were as i didnt get given a receipt but i got iron pills, mouth wash and the tarts for £7.38.
so guessing about £4. the SEL was half price at £8.50 which i would have been happy to pay, so think think they went through at half that.SPC~12 ot 124

Was he in the work group I think that stops after a year , he needs to go into the support group as he is unable to work.
Well he phoned and was told that in March 2014 they started processing his ESA claim when he was formally retired. Almost a year later and they are still processing. In fact they are so far from finishing that they can't even tell us when he will have his medical interview from atos. He had a medical interview from ATOS in September for his disability lIving allowance (granted higher rate mobility) and even though it is exactly the same company and even the same bloody questions they can't use the results! When he asked what will happen when they stop his ESA, they've told him he will just have to wait as they are very busy  how exactly are we supposed to cope for an indefinite amount of time! Sorr
y your DH has strife from the benefits system, hope it gets sorted, Feisty, My son has a face to face interview on Wednesday for migrating from IB to ESA, and his friend has one on Friday. (is it coincidence that this is the county that is trialling the run out of universal credit? and IDS has said everyone will get a face to face?). After all, muscular dystrophy and cerebral palsy don't get better, ever! grrr.
Ah well, now, all decs down and most put away, 3 presents for next time bought already, cards and wrap sorted, but not gift tags.
I had a lovely time with the grandnibs but they are back in China now, and hopes of them returning to live here in the summer are dashed, it isn't happening. (sad face smiley). Thank goodness for Skype.
Fave cous is coming for coffee and maybe a trip to the next town hugs to everyone whether you need them or not, and off l go to boil the kettle. xx
So sorry to hear the China brigade won't be home. I hope your son wasn't too distraught after his meeting today xxxMorning. Dd2 isn't feeling well so is off nursery. Snuggles on the couch are the answer I think. Means I can't get to the CAb until Friday now. Means I have more time to organsise what I need to take with me, I was only half done and wasnt sure what I needed.
I'm hoping dd will have a nap and I can get back into my workroom and get painting new stock for the year ahead.
I'd like to start a blog too. Something to do on the nights I'm not running after dd1 and her dancing. Fed up just watching tv. And it's too dark to craft. I have been knitting now and again too, but my fingers go numb quickly.
Does anyone have any experience on setting up a good blog? I see so many well run american ones. Nice bright pics etc. I tried a craft blog before and it looked rubbish. Any advice would be appreciated x
