Nothing much to report at the moment - competition entries to date are 4,145 for the month of June with one day still to go!

Free - I will be joining you in that, it's soooo hot and the stupid cat insists on sitting on my leg! :@ She's pretty anti social doesn't like being stroked doesn't really like people but every once in a blue moon she likes to sit on my leg or right up next to me I don't dare move her, but why today! why when I'm practically melting?! Hmmph!
I dislike summer.

welcome lannieduck I know some food makes keep well and are makeable several months in advance but I only tend to do last minute cakes/cookies.

peppapig I'm sure the flowers will be perfect smaller is def the right way to go thinking of you all

pixtotts I'm sure your message was a huge help far too often people are afraid to share such personal experiences and when your currently trying to cope with something its a huge relief to know that your not alone and others understand.

freespirit aww sound like the swimming lessons are going great must have made for some amazing photos

ok so I caved and brought a pool for the kids today as its far too hot but I refuse to let them hibernate indoors just because its cooler.

My local poundland have an offer on character towels £4 when you spend £1 or more they had frozen/avengers/spiderman & another girly one? fairly decent size/quality considering and might make a nice addition to a themed hamper
lots of newer frozen/minions bits too well stuff I haven't seen there before anyway.

Evening everyone, we are just this moment having a bit of a storm, thunder and rain, the dogs gone nuts, scratching at DS bedroom door and jumped on his bed i hope it clears the air

PIXTOTTS haha i had that today with Thumper it was so so hot but cuddling left me and him sweltering!!!

MANDCO we crossed postings then, yes the photos are fab, it reminds me of the advert years ago where the baby swum under water and everyone went mad over it, ooh thanks for the tip about the character towels

I have an app on my phone which helps me keep track. There is also a thread & spreadsheet over on the competitions board which we update as well.

Freespirit I have done a total of 4,225 comps in June - 225 over the target! :eek: I'd better get on with the competitions for July as I need to get ahead due to being on holiday for part of the month.

Evening everyone, oh dear god it got to 34 oc here today, DD1 had to take me and the dog (husky) out for a drive in her car tonight with AirCon up high just to cool down!! Oh no i have just got a text this second from DD2 saying they can smell gas and have had to call someone out, thats not good!!!

Freespirit I feel sorry for the animals with this heat. Dogs and cats are going about sweltering in their fur. I bet the dog enjoyed the trip in the car! How did DD2 get on with the emergency last night?
