    Hello everyone

The weekend is here ... Yippee! :) It has been a long week.

I'm planning a trip to the city tomorrow as I'm looking for a pair of black trousers for work. They need to be a size 6, bootcut, wide leg or flared and have a button waistband. The joys of a big bum and a small waist! :D
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

I'm sending you all the same goodwill too.

I'm posting as I've had a massively fab Christmas injection. It is oh birthday so I booked a meal and theatre. The show was called night collar. About the escapades of a taxi driver and all the passengers he has on . . ... . Christmas eve! !! Fab sound track obviously. I was worried oh would think I'd done it on purpou but he loved it too it was v funny. I knew what it was about but not that it was christmassy. Would recommend as had big belly laughs.

Keep well every one and thanks x x x x

DomRavioli how was your first day in the new job? I hope it all went well.

Mojoworking that theatre show sounds fab, thanks for the tip.

mrsinvisible what a great find for a present, sounds perfect and a great price! I hope everything is ok with you.

I hope you're recovering feisty? And I hope you're feeling better too freespirit?

I finally got around to doing my other New Year's resolution of making/doing one thing a month from Pinterest - I am lagging behind in that as well! I went to see my friend who is having a bit of a bad time at the moment and made her a bag of sunshine:

I got the idea on Pinterest. Of course it's not going to take her troubles away but hopefully cheered her up a bit!

We've got DH's family coming down today so I need to get on with tidying and prepping food. We've got pizza's and quiche, and we're going to serve them with paprika roasted new potato halves, garlic ciabatta and salad.

I hope everyone manages to have a good weekend. xx

Hello all. Hope you dont mind me joining.
I love the idea of a sunshine bag princesskitty29, one i may use if you dont mind.
Ive not started on presents yet, but am tempted to make jars of gold or silver, an idea ive seen on the forums, but not 100% sure what to put in other than sweets.
My mum and i are putting a few £s a each month/fortnight when were paid into a christmas 'fund' or pot. It really came in handy for the little luxuries for us last year on christmas day we carried it on.

Welcome UnluckyT - thanks for the tip, I must get a Christmas fund pot set up. Not quite sure why I've never thought of this before lol.

    Free, where are you?

Mojo, glad the show was good - are you sure it was a coincidence ha ha.

DomRavioli, hope the new job went well and you've settled in now.

PrincessKitty - loving the bag of sunshine idea, might change it to a basket of sunshine (I've got baskets lol) and add it to my Christmas pressie ideas list.

Well done on the pressie MrsI.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I took DGD home this morning after having her here since Monday - I miss her already although I must admit it will be lovely not to be up at the crack of dawn lol!

Bought a set of three oval shaped baskets in CS this morning - like new and only £2 for the set - something Christmas related at last!!!!
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :

Peppapig I'm deeply offended!! Or am I that transparent even on t'internet!!! You decide ;-)

The positive is oh had wforgotten how much he enjoyed going so will start coming along again. I love going to the theatre and it gets boring trying to cajole.

Holidays for the kids are nearly over. Ironing to do. Can't believe half a year has gone x

    Hi lovely people.

I am trying to type this post like a ninja as back in hospital (have been for almost a month) They don't know exact extent of problem yet but I can't hold food/fluids down so am being tube feed and have a Picc line in. Things should be on the up this week providing test results come back a bit better tomorrow. Maybe I will even be able to test fluids/solids orally. I have had to delay uni exams (they were supposed to be on the 5th) I am gutted but still revising for when the time comes.

Anyway must get of the laptop before I wake the old dears up.

Love and hugs to all! xx
