mrsinvisible I am so, so sorry to hear your desperately sad news, I cannot imagine what you are all going through as a family. Things must be very difficult for you at the moment and I imagine you are being a rock to your DD, so any time you need to chat just come on here and talk to us. Wishing you all so much strength to get through this, and lots of hugs. xx

Quidsy i'm sorry to hear of your bereavement too, lots of strength and hugs to you, I hope you're ok. xx

Tin can I hope you are all settled in your new home.

IrishRose how awful to hear of your friends daughter, what an awful time you are having. I do hope they can help her soon. Very good news to hear about the family and how lovely you are pulling together as a community to help.

freespirit you are so good with the birthdays, I always forget to look!

junior i'm so sorry to hear you've been poorly and in hospital again, I hope it's settled down for a little while. Well done on keeping up with your uni work!

Opee I remember you! Did you have a meltdown in the Christmas aisle at a supermarket once? It might not have been you as that was a couple of years ago, but let's face it, i'm sure it could have been any one of us on here! :p

feisty oh i'm so sorry to hear that news about the mortgage, these things are sent to test us and you've been tested more than most. I suppose the most important thing is to get the house and it is a good way for the money to be used, but I know how important it was for you to make the house nice. It is surprising what can be done on a budget these days. I know how easy this is for me to say but please try not to get too stressed at the moment, you need to be kind to yourself. xx

    :bdaycake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY WEECLICK :bdaycake:

Thank you for my lovely birthday wishes, very kind of you all. I haven't been on for a while as we've been busy visiting both sets of parents. I had a lovely birthday that consisted of opening cards and presents, cup of tea in bed, McDonalds breakfast, cuddles and playtime with Wiggle, cinema with DH, rest, bathtime and bedtime with Wiggle then out for a Mexican meal in the evening with DH. We decided to go to the cinema in the afternoon and then go out again after Wiggle had gone to bed as we would have been out late had we done it all in the evening and Wiggle is still unpredictable at night so I don't like late nights! It was nice to break the day up though and I think the grandparents really enjoyed looking after him.

I keep adding things to my Christmas spreadsheet but can't really buy anything yet which is a pain! I'm doing a few food hampers for people (I find people love them!) and I know I could get some stuff now like tins etc, but there's not much point really I should wait until closer to the time.

I'm sorry so many of you are having a hard time at the moment, you are in my thoughts and I hope life gives you a break very soon. xx

    Morning everyone
Hope everyone is keeping as well as can be expected ATM.
A Belated Happy Birthday to those birthdays I may have missed, Get well soon to those to are sick, and Condolences, Prayers and cuddles to thoses who are in need of them ATM.

Not much happening here, fundraising is going well ATM for our wee superhero. He's coping well with the treatment Thank God, hopefully it continues to stay that way.

The 1st lot of Teacher/Assistant end of year gifts have sold out already:eek: My friend put them on her Facebook page and they went like hot cakes. We charged £6 each for them and that included delivery and had 50 of them so we made around £200 so far.

One teacher contacted her to ask if we could make up a little "kit" for her students who are leaving Primary School this year. There are 32 in total, so we have agreed that once we take out the cost of the cost of the items we will do a reduced price for her.
I've also had 3 people contact me on here by reading this forum and want to buy some so 10 kits will be in their way to those 3 tomorrow :)

We have set a target now to make with these which is £500 which will be donated to the wee fella's fund. It's amazing how people can be so generous!

Our Florida plans are Kind of going OK. Nothing booked as of yet, we're attempting DIY as it's working out cheaper for us. Can't decide on where to stay yet but we'll get there. Just need to wait until August to book our flights.

Christmas wise I've done well in the Argos sale this weekend :rotfl: Have gotten a few wee sets for the kids, all £2.99:T
Also managed to get a couple of different sets to put away for the PostPals Christmas Elf Project in December too.

Tescos yesterday had some Orchard games on offer. Got the Shopping list game x5 for £1.50 each:T One is for our classroom, 2 for the house (put away for Christmas may I add) and the other 2 again for PostPals :)

Off now to catch up on my savings tins. They've been a bit neglected lately and need added to:o

Well we were wrong with the royal baby name but I think their choice is lovely - Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Bet she'll be called Charlie at home lol.
