Feisty, sorry to hear the bad news about the mortgage but like GTQ I too believe that things happen for a reason, even if it's not obvious straight away so please don't be too despondent, there may be brighter news on the horizon.
Freespirit - blood pressure check! It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
Evening everyone, crikey i am finding this new set up on here very challenging, and everything is taking longer than it should, i cant log in unless i press quick reply  where i used to press multi quote to reply it doesnt even come up:mad: to find where i want to go is not easy to find either  i cant find the long list of emoticons to use  i really dont know why they had to change it, it was fine as it was before, its worse not better that isnt moving with the times!!! Ooh i have had a lovely day today, i have been washing and tumbling and the house is pretty tidy anyway but i have also caught up on a few episodes of Hawaii Five O, watched a film, randomly surfed the internet, and read on my kindle and i still have two more days yippee!!!
FEISTY i really dont think your DH nans money is being wasted in you both being able to buy a house with a garden that DH really wanted and wished for, i am sure his nan would just want him to be happy at the end of the day and if that means helping out with the mortgage to get him what he wants, i am sure she would be ok with that
CHRISSY surely they must be able to sort their staff out if there are other people who thought the same as you, it must be bad for business especially if people are bothering to put it online, oh flip i didnt know amazon had put it up to £20 grrr
3FORHOLIDAYS yes i am the same now i stop and think twice before i buy anything for anyone, and think now is that going to end up as junk? I try and think of food, drink or toiletries that will be used but wont clutter up anyones house
OPEE i got an email today to say that my application was still being processed???? Oh wow good for you that is a massive pot for christmas then both togetherthe sainsburys deal was good, i must ask DD2 actually because she has a similar scheme at work, i wonder if they do M&S?? I am the same, i keep putting xmas food savings away then dipping, then putting back, i think i will buy vouchers too then i cant use them:D
GETTINGTHEREQUICKLY oh sorry i cant help with Prince Hans, wow that must be some costume for £100
JUNIORJ i will shout if i see any cheap/reduced christmas deccies
PEPPAPIG thankyou!!! (you know what i mean)#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
JJ how lovely to have you back! sorry that you are still having such horrible health issues! amazed at how positive you stay!
Hugs to everyone, Hope you are ok and not too hormo(a)ney, Feisty, when do you think the move will happen? Freespirit, you really need to make that appointment.
Things here are still very subdued, waiting for DDs DHs funeral on Tuesday, it is being a long weekend.0 -

Good to see "oldies" back, sorry things haven't been great for you Jess, but you are a tough cookie as we all know. Feisty, I am a firm believer in things happening for a reason, I truly hope that this means you will have a little bundle of joy as compensation.
The littlies in Egypt want Frozen costumes, Elsa fine but does anyone know where I can get Prince Hans, a lot cheaper than the £100 plus they seem to cost? Apparently he is the nasty character in the film but the lad wants it on the basis that bit he and the character have a sword! Got to admire childrens logic:D
I've had a poke around and can't see anything cheaper, you could always DIY? This site has some good ideas, but you'd to do a lot of work to make it authentic.

MrsI I'm sending strength and healing thoughts to you all, I can't even begin to imagine what you're all going through. X
I'm getting a lot of symptoms, but it will be worth it in the end.
We still have no idea on the move and now our savings have been wiped I'm praying we can just move from our current home to the new one as we were going to move in with the inlaws to keep our buyers happy, but we now have no money for storage etc[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

I forgot to say last night what a lovely day watching the news about the little princess being born, she is so beautiful, i cant wait to hear what her name will be, it would be lovely if they called her Diana but i know it would be too awkward with Charles and Camilla so it wont happen
MRSINVISIBLE oh its lovely to hear from you on here under the circumstances, i hope DGS is coping with it all, sending your family the strength to get through this awful time, and remember we are always here for you xx#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
Freespirit I'm still on the old style forum at the moment although there is a banner at the top inviting me to have a look at the new-look one. I daren't click on it in case I end up having to stay on the new one.
I'm thinking Victoria Katherine Elizabeth for the new royal baby which means it'll be nothing like that lol. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
PEPPAPIG haha that is exactly what i did!!! I have spent a bit of time just pressing buttons today and feel a bit more confident using it now! It must be so hard for them to choose between traditional royal names and her families names, i wonder if it was all decided before the birth or whether they still arent sure?? Just for a laugh my guess will be Diana Elizabeth Carole (after all the grannies and great granny) it will certainly never be these, too common!#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0
