If its a sky deal they sky don't send the vouchers direct, they are sent from a marketing company who sky pass on your details and activation date, so these are sent out on activation date.
when we signed up for Sky is was a £75 M and S voucher which we got about 2 weeks after activation date and then a few days later another £75 voucher arrived from sky, so we contacted them on live chat and their records only showed 1 voucher sent, we asked about the second voucher and was told to spend it as they had no record of it. kept the transcript incase they wanted this back, but in 3 years they have not asked for it back0 -
Oh so many goody two shoes out there......They're just jealous that they didn't get the £100 voucher! I'd love to see them send it back!
If you did the deal and changed provider/switched which you obviously did then theoretically you kept your side of the deal. If they hadn't messed up your connection or account etc you would still be with them now so no don't send it back....its yours.....plus they haven't paid you back what they took from your account either. Keep the money!0 -
Most Broadband providers are border line crooks, they renege on deals and put up their prices whenever it suits them. Spend the vouchers as soon as you can and to hell with them.0

No you shouldn't. the voucher was given for taking out the contract.
Quite honestly, I'm disappointed at how many responses I read through before I found one saying it was wrong to keep this voucher.
I know times are hard just now but it's dishonest. As someone else suggested - phone and let them know you received the voucher despite the fact your contract had been cancelled. They may well not ask for it to be returned and then you can spend it with a clear conscience. Your conscience IS obviously bothering you or you wouldn't have asked the question in the first place.0 -
Yes.
Why would you ever think of sending them back?
Spend them and enjoy them.0 -
Read the terms and conditions - was the gift for signing up, or was it contingent upon being connected for a time?
Do the vouchers say "Complimentary"?0 -
I would spend it.
Yes of course that's not the right thing to do bla bla bla. They shouldn't be so incompetent!
If they ask for it back just make sure you can afford to reimburse them.0 -
If the 'contract' you had with them (i.e. successful connection) has not been completed (i.e. there was no successful connection), then you have no right to keep the vouchers and spend them - just as they have no right to keep the money they have taken from your bank account. You are each entitled to be 'refunded'. I would imagine your bank could help in getting back your money if personal negotiation fails but, in your shoes, I would not spend the vouchers until everything has been discussed with them and resolved.0

If you returned them I wonder if they have any process in place to accept them back, other than some office worker opening up the letter and discretely placing the voucher into their pocket
