Hope everyone's had a good weekend  I'm going to have an early night as I had another headache this morning and don't want one for work tomorrow
OH is downstairs putting some wallpaper up in the front room :T we only bought it 14 months ago!! :jJan 2010 - Overdraft £9,500 / Credit Cards £5,000 / Loan £9,500 / Mortgage £128,000

New wallpaper looks great
just need a new sofa and to rip up the carpet :rotfl: maybe once the little man is steadier on his feet and not so prone to spillages (about 21 lol!)
The working week is finally over, and tomorrow is pay day :T
Recieved my tax credits renewal today, the letter says we were overpaid by more than £3k, I'm really hoping that's not the case as I stopped them before the end of the tax year and there's no way we could have survived whilst I was on Maternity Leave without them, it feels like they are penalising me for working full time , I'd love to work part time but it was refused. I've filled out the online form so just a waiting game to see if we owe anything - no idea how we'll find the money to pay them back now we no longer recieve tax credits and OH only working one morning a week

I'm struggling to find the motivation to do anything lately, I coukd quite easily sit in bed and do nothing all day
On a more positive note I had a really good Avon order this time :j just need the motivation to sort it all out.
I recieved a payout from Topcashback so have paid £75 to the car finance, not as much as I'd hoped but still making small steps.
Off to bed shortly before the 5.30am alarm for work, good night!Jan 2010 - Overdraft £9,500 / Credit Cards £5,000 / Loan £9,500 / Mortgage £128,000

OH had some work this week which was great, nice to have some money at the end of the week without really struggling. Hopefully if it becomes regular work I can start increasing the car payments again.
Looks like we should be better off by about £300 a year with the new tax free allowance rates in the budget, shame we've got to wait until next April for it. And hopefully OH will recieve a bit more pay as the living wage comes gradually goes to £9 an hour :j

Hi Laura! I'm sorry you've been having a bit of a rough time recently.
It's great to hear that the budget will affect you so positively! My impact is about £30
Hope your other half gets more work soon!0 -
Thanks for reading my diary
Not been on for a couple of days due to being exhausted and a tempormental internet connection, but working from home today and hopefully I can stay online.
OH has a couple of days work again this week :j so things are looking good, even if his work was rained off on Monday.
I'm hoping to focus a bit more on my Avon business, picked up a couple more customers this week and hopefully a couple more reps to sign up at the weekend whilst Avon are giving us a bonus for doing so
Last day of the working week for me tomorrow then off to a teddy bears picnic with the little man :cool:Jan 2010 - Overdraft £9,500 / Credit Cards £5,000 / Loan £9,500 / Mortgage £128,000

Feeling a bit more positive this week, only had two days of commuting this week with a day from an office close to home and a day working from home so feel much better.
Yesterday was my day off so me and the little man went and did the food shop, it was very quiet at 8.30am - I may go early all the time now! I'd hoped to go to the park with him but the weather was just yucky. We went to the library instead and got him some more books for the reading challenge.
Delivered to some of my Avon customers yesterday and have a few left to do over the next few days due to customers work shifts. Extra books ordered as well to canvass my streets and hopefully get some new customers.
I complained to my bank for the delay in sending my card reader (they emailed me instead of the department to send it out!), they've offered me £50 so that will be a payment towards the car when it arrives.
My little monkey woke up this morning and was 'playing' in his room, although that meant emptying his wardrobe of clothes all over his bedroom floor. Any tips to stop him doing it?
Not sure what to do today with the weather so miserable, tempted by the £10 soft play offer for 6 weeks unlimited play.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend
My baby boy is having a little nap and the other half is at work, so whilst the roast is cooking I thought I'd have a quick read on here. Shame to see a few of the diaries I regularly read are taking time outbut we all need some real life time.
I've also been looking at the Avon bonus structure for recruiting, I need to build my team up before my redundancy kicks in next year so I have some income to fall back on. I could really do with so,e nice sunshine

You always cheer me up. couldn't sleep last night, I have to go to the enforcement office in morning to discuss how much I can pay to Nationwide, although I am already in an arrangement with them, they are forcing this through just to put a charging order plus the CCJ on my home. I cannot afford toilet roll let alone give more to the greedy Nationwide credit card account, which was never secured on my home,as I would never risk my home for a credit card. Why do we suffer and the bankers get away with stealing from us????0
