Wow! That's really some exercise regime rose! I just walked a mile or so today and I thought I was doing well!:rotfl:
This is what we're seeing tomorrow:

We go here regularly, book up for a few things through each season. It's a lovely little theatre that does lots of pre-runs before the West End.
I like the sound of the hair stuff built into the drawer. Sounds like a 5* hotel. Mine's all laid out in the spare bedroom.
Chanie, I've developed a sort of 'uniform' for work wear. When I put it on it immediately gets my head into work mode. Over the years it's changed a bit. It always used to be trousers and a jacket but these days I often swap the trousers for a pencil skirt and sometimes wear a short cardigan rather than a jacket. Whenever possible I wear heels as it makes such a difference to posture. It needn't cost too much. You can ring the changes with different coloured tops.0 -
maman thank you. My work uniform is normally back trousers and a jersey top, but my clothes are looking tatty and could do with replacing, so I'll start replenishing my work wardrobe when I get paid
My problem is that my weight has been creeping up, so I don't feel very confident at the moment. Plus I'm really hairy - I go on holiday in a couple of weeks, so I'm going for wax, but it means a horrible couple of weeks.
Forgot to add.... Mr chanie had date night last night of dinner and cinema. I wore a smart casual outfit and make up - I looked quite nice. When we'd been driving for 5 minutes, it started chucking down with rain, so I ended up turning back home to get a jacket with a hood and to change my shoes, as my heels were suede and I didn't want to ruin then. The best laid plans......... still, we had a nice time.0 -
There's no place like home......;)
Just enjoying a quiet cup of tea, then nip out to the shop, cook a nice dinner and a relaxing evening.
Normal service resumes tomorrow....0 -
Glad you had a good time LL and back safe and sound .
I've had nails and eyebrows done today so all set for holiday starting tomorrow. Wall to wall sunshine!!:D
Be back on 9th July.0 -
Have a lovely time on your holiday Maman and welcome back from your break LL
I have work this evening. I had a 6 mile run this morning and we then went to the cash and carry for work. Since we got back I've just pottered around a bit and cooked the evening meal. I've got a pile of new library books to choose from too so plenty to keep me busy.
Have a good week everyone,

ll welcome back.
maman have a nice holiday.
I had a half day at work today for fabbing purposes. I went to Bravissimo as i needed to buy a tankini for my holiday. I got a bra fitting and am now a 32g which is huge considering my size. It really makes a difference in terms of how my clothes fit and I look slimmer. They didn't have the tankini I wanted in stock so I tried a similar one on to check the sizing before I ordered it online. I didn't like the pattern of the one I tried on, but it looked really nice when I tried it on and it just works well, it you see what I mean.
My next appointment was for some laser hair removal. I picked up a deal from groupon and thought it as it was so cheap, it was worth a try. I had a patch test today, with my first session in a couple of weeks, providing my skin first break out.
It's amazing what a goid bra fitting can do to work you up. I just need to get some new bras now.0 -
Just a quickie to wish you a lovely holiday, MAman?
And BTW "hsppy solstice"
Really tired so will toddle off to bed soon.0 -
Summer Solstice greetings to you all.
Chanie glad your date night went well even if you had to change outfits.
I am feeling beyond exhausted. Just been to the doctors and I have a perforated ear drum - ears haven't been right since I had earache in March and now I have no hearing in my right ear. My balance is affected too - though it was funny last night when I fell over when I was loading the washing machine. Luckily I didn't hurt myself and saw the funny side and laughed. Literally rolling in the floor laughing :rotfl:
My Mum was moved out of hospital yesterday and into a care home for rehab (or more depending how it goes). Off to see her this morning to sort out what she needs.
Working tomorrow but oh come here Thursday, you are mine all MINE :T Giving myself a day to chill, read, bit of fabbing and maybe a nap. I can't wait. In the meantime I'm doing a mini fab Tuesday in that I'm wearing a nice pale mint coloured Phase Eight top with birds on (I'm loving the birdie prints right now), navy linen trousers, make up and perfume.

Slightly more fabbed than frumped today as I have had my regular 7/8 week cut and blow dry. Had an invite to go out to dinner with one of my bruvs, his lovely wife and my ma, so OH and I will be fabbing up later. Shine taken off by having had a nasty IBS attack in the night, spent the first couple of hours of my birthday in the bathroom! and will not be able to eat too much, but looking forward to the company:D
Nails painted pale dusky pink, toes hot pink and wearing navy linen maxi dress with long floral scarf, think hot pink skinny jeans with grey linen top for later. Off for a little Nana nap, as lost a lot of sleep last night:(The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Happy Belated Birthday Maddie. Hope you recovered quickly from your IBS attack - not pleasant. I had a mini one whilst I was away, fortunately it didn't last long.
Anyway now I'm back and the decks are clear it's back to healthy eating and some serious Fabbing....
Ive got 11 months to lose weight, get fit and sort myself out before my son gets married.
Obviously I want to look good for the wedding but I also want and need to do this for my long term health and (hopefully) longevity.
I bought a pair of shorts yesterday :rotfl: - only for the garden though.......no need to scare the neighbours - I wont be showing my bare legs in public until ive sorted out my veins.
Right time to get cracking and start the day......0
