Do Natwest have machines for depositing coins?
Comments

I've had a look on the Natwest website and it says my local branch has a Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) but it does mention that not all machines can accept coins, some are notes only. I've got a couple of notes to pay in anyway, so it won't be a wasted trip if it doesn't accept coins. I'll have a look tomorrow0

Hi all
I went into my local branch this morning and they did indeed have a cash deposit machine complete with coin section.

Hi there
Do Natwest have machines in their branches for depositing coins into a current account? I have loads of change in a money box that I've been saving and I want to cash it in.
I used to use the coinstar machines in Tesco but they take a % of the funds.
Thanks very much
Ours in Burnley does.:money:0 -

Does anyone know if there are any banks with coin-counting machines in Newcastle upon Tyne please?
The link posted by stclair says that the Northumberland Street branch has a cash and cheque deposit machine; just wondering if anyone knows if it accepts coins?
If not, I will try and take a walk along one lunch time to check it out.:coffee: Don't dream it, be it :coffee:0 -
The NatWest branch in Winsford (Cheshire) has a coin machine and I was told that the Northwich branch is getting one in a few weeks time0

it seems NatWest are pushing the coin deposit machines well...i think they're a great idea:T -and they give a bank a good reason to actually visit them.0

Agreed! Much better than having to go to Tesco to use the Coinstar machine for them to take the 8% cut or whatever it is, to then have to queue at Customer Services for the cash - then having to go to the bank to pay it in!
Much easier to deposit straight into the account, without the need for sorting into multiple coin bags and queing for a cashier.
Well impressed!0 -
I've got a big whiskey bottle that i save all my copper, takes years to fill it up. The last time it was full i handed it to the Sally Army woman selling her papers at our local shops and asked her to save me the bottle and return it once they'd counted it.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
