Have been rushing around since 7.30 getting house ready for it to be viewed this afternoon.

The couple viewing it have said they are spending all day vewing houses so will not get my hopes up for a sale!

Might go to Lidl if I can rouse myself to go shopping and DH has suggested a picnic tomorrow.

    Hugs to everybody.

    Hi all,

I'm so tired, i told my dad last night i'm pregnant and he was, how shall i put it, less than impressed!
The conversation ended with him saying you dont have to be, i'll pay for a termination!
Last night i cried for hours and was really !!!!!! to hubby and spent alot of time feeling sorry for myself.

I got out of bed at 3.30am this morning because my mind was in overdrive and i couldn't sleep, and now i feel like death reincarnated.

Today i feel more up beat and dont care what anyone thinks.
That said i thought my dad would be easy, i still have my mother to tackle yet (who still wants to rule my life even though i am 30 this year:eek: )

On a lighter note we took the kids to feed the ducks at 7.30am this morning (because we are too tight to pay £3.50 after 8am) and had a great time.

Then we ventured to the library (sp?) and spent 2 hours there whilst the kids enjoyed themselves.

I also joined up, i love reading and always have, but up until i found this board i thought nothing of spending 4-5 £ on books in tesco with my weekly shop only to read them once and then throw them out when i got fed up of them cluttering up the cupboards.

I am now going to get them from the library read them and take them back!

    Hope you are all well.

Hugs to those who need them.

    hello again,
i have had a very productive day,
hung out two loads of washing to dry on the line, now back in dry and folded.
cleaned kitchen, bathroom, hallway and livingroom, beds all made.
went shopping and stuck to my list only spent £51. instead of my usual £100 so thats a bonus.
made two lots of bolognese out of one pack of mince and added a few secret veggies so we are having one for tea and the other is in a tub ready for the freezer, also made a huge pan of homemade soup also been decanted into small tubs for the freezer. made 4o chocolate buns for the packed lunches because i didnt buy any biscuits. also looking after dgd aged one and a half this afternoon so im proud i achieved so much.
have a great weekend everyone and thanks for the welcome yesterday

Hello everyone - just put the jackets in the oven.

HEAVENLEIGH - besides libraries, the charity shops are fantastic hunting grounds for books of all kinds. I never buy new books unless I get book vouchers and then I spend hours making sure I get the best value. The charity shops in my area do buy-one-get-one-free and, sometimes, I've spent .80p and got four books! It's by far my biggest weakness and my idea of bliss would be to sit on an island with the drawbridge up surrounded by books and read and read and read! www.bookcrossing.com is the perfect way to part with books - you just leave a book you've really enjoyed (once it's done all the rounds of fellow-readers!) somewhere like a park bench or on a bus and, if someone picks it up and enjoys it, they can log on to the site to mention it. The book then gets left again. The idea is to share books around the world!

Well, I had intended to have a busy afternoon but I had my lunch - ham and chutney sandwiches, and then sat down and just 'slightly' put the telly on and ended up engrossed in a film called 'Dance with Me', a love story all tied up with Latin-American dancing which I adore! The lead male was drop-dead gorgeous! Face and bod!! Of course, the lead female was stunningly beautiful but I tried to ignore her! They were both wonderful dancers and lots of routines were shown; salsa, rumba, cha cha and so on. I loved it. it has put me in the mood for 'Strictly Come Dancing' but that won't start until September. It's the only programme in the whole year that I will drop almost everything to watch. Just as well it's only on for three months!

Well - off to check my dinner - will see you all later; hope the rain has held off for all the flooded areas. (((hugs))) to all in need.

    KathyXX

Edited to say how gorgeous is your little boy! Bless him. I meant to say when I started this post, HEAVENLEIGH, it's your life and don't worry what everyone else thinks about you being pregnant again. You make beautiful children.

    Evening all,

Sorry I didn't make it yesterday the extra two women in the house are very time-consuming ( DD2, 34 and DGD1, 30 mths!) At the moment DGD is treating DGS, almost 5 as her puppy and he is falling in very well..she is afraid that he will poo inside so is having a busy time watching him!

JackieO....congratulations on getting through Thursday unscathed!

Smoky...thinking of you and your OH

    DLB...congratulations on your wedding anniversary.

Heavenleigh...love your son's picture...don't take any notice of your dad, not his business, just look after yourself and your family and let others think as they will.

Annie...good to see the positivity in your post, keep it up.

Tooties...welcome and keep up the good work.

Hugs to everybody else as my memory is really gone, congratulations to the weight losers ( I'm really very jealous) and extra hugs for anyone in need. Most of you still exhaust me just reading what you have done in the day...I had breakfast, watered DB's house plants, went shopping and cooked dinner and that's it. Shopped in Tesco to-day, rarely spend much there...no sign of any yellow stickers or very many other bargains, prices seem much the same as Dunnes where I normally do my 'big' shop.

Hope that everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend

    Marie.

Well had change of plan today and ended up doing virtually nothing. Have had a lazy day and totally recharged my batteries.

Gonna slob further and watch saturday night telly, also spent time on here and caught up with all the threads.

    Enjoy your saturday evenings.

Heavenleigh - I hope I am more relaxed with my kids...my mum's ok but my dad can be a bit over the top at times. People have got to live their own lives.
