I'll try and be in - can't do much less housework than I did this week......
Unlikely to join ironing challenge as thankfully that tends to be OH's forte; I don't wear the sort of clothes that need ironing, and as he won't be at work for some time he won't need flat shirts.

Amazingly he is being moved to a normal surgical ward - must be all your lovely healing vibes. A bit of i/v nutrition going in tomorrow; at the moment it's just saline, antibiotics, morphine or paracetomol and occasional sips of water. they also say he will be encouraged to move from the bed to a chair, which is anticipated to be exhausting but better for his circulation and breathing.

Morning all. Get well soon vibes for Narco's DH and Master Bossy.

Well, woohoo, LittleyDog slept through the night in DD's old room, and so we can keep the eau de DD going, DD is going to bring some unwashed pyjamas with her when she visits on Weds (nice!).

I'm still not feeling great but will dose up again before the paid stuff. I won't join the ironing challenge as I've not had a mountain since the challenge a couple of years ago. But I would be up for joining a things to do while off work challenge. Mine will be to sort out all cupboards. In previous jobs I've worked through the time between Xmas and New Year but this lot just down tools for two weeks.

Right, better crack on. I want to clean some windows and drop off a charity donation on the dog walk before the paid stuff.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Thats great news Narco, hope he continues to make good progress.

Good luck at work Gilly. Dont try and do too much.

Paid stuff today. Must get rid of the bag of stuff for the charity shop thats lurking in the hall.

Oh and I binned my ironing basket years ago because it was just too tempting to leave it full. I dont iron things unless they need it and any ironing that does need sorting I do as soon as the washing is dry.

    Right, best make a start!

    Morning All

Well having spent yesterday in bed (well on the bed with the window open because I was too hot!) I've still got a temperature and feel lousy this morning so I'm not going to work. However I am hoping to get some wrapping done in between napping.

    Have a good day all

    I won't offer hugs today!

  • Morning - I am in Dusty,
though I'll have to get the home ironing pile cleared before 28th when we are coming to Dustyland for New Year and pledge to do DS's too!! He loves his occasional ironing lady!!

Further healing vibes for Narco's DH and Master Bossy.

    Welcome Aloofdragon.

Today I plan to do more ironing - still waiting for some to dry!
Then it is a walk with D sis and local farmer's market.

    PM I'll be cleaning!!!!

Have already decluttered the downstairs floor to an upstairs bedroom!! Need to offer surplus decs to DS or his girlfriend but they are stored in the loft so may have to wait until next year. Luckily we don't have a downstairs loo - so I am looking as if today's list is going to be achieved easily!!!

Need to make a To DO List of calls and letters and emails and work through those this week too.

Have just cleared two tops for CS (and sorted my mini wardrobe) - one top is enormous and the other I have never worn but don't like it or have anything that it will go with!

    Have a great day everyone.

Also thinking about Pigpen - are you OK?
