I do but I have a tendancy to get home and think I'll do it later then go to bed and have to do it in a rush first thing in the morning. Hence I used to like going to use the library while I was out to write things up so it was done before I go home

Ah right, so you need someone to keep you on the straight and narrow.

    - and yes I could take my netbook out with me and do the write up using free wifi somewhere but that would mean buying coffee/food and is not very MSE whereas using the library kept my card active which has to be a good thing in terms of helping to keep libraries in general open. :A

    Angel...yeah... :rotfl:

If it works for you, then it works for you - I was just curious... ;)

Yeah it works for me, I usually get the train to the town I was in today and there are trains roughly every 15 mins to either one of my local stations so doing the write up in the library doesn't make any major difference time wise/incur extra parking costs.

Someone trying to keep me on the straight and narrow is doomed to fail, or to at the very least never be allowed to set foot in my home again.

So you're very much for the crooked and bent then? ;)

It certainly sounds like it would be more fun. :D

In other news I have to stop watching TV t this time of day - I just experienced an advert for an app that lets you watch "all your favourite reality tv shows" and all for a mere £4 a month.

Things like that really make me question if there's any hope for the majority of the human race.

Experience reality for only £4 per month? Bargain!

Next they'll be selling an app for you to watch all your favourite adverts...

That's minor stuff. I read a lot of international news... :rotfl:  :rotfl:

I tend to work on the assumption that as scary as it sounds it can't possibly be that bad or the world would have ended already.

I've been fairly lazy today, finally put the first of my picture frames on the walls, the others I'm still unsure about where I want to put them yet. Am thinking my coastal themed wall art doesn't really match with my colourful furnishings. Also looking for some way to display photos thats not as dull as just framing them particularly as I don't want to make too many holes in the walls. Wondering about doublesided tape to stick them directly to the wall or if I can find something to suspend them from with coloured twine and clips.

What do you mean by "coastal"? Obviously lovely sandy beaches come up quite yellow, which is quite colourful, or are you into the moody storm scenes?

The only things I've seen are stuff like this:

By coastal I mean the kind of generic white and shades of blue type stuff. I'm thinking I might see if I can find any drift wood when I go down to the coast in a few weeks, if I can hang that then I can tie things on to that. Not sure if I'd work or not but its worth a try, the other option is a really bright coloured length of cane or similar.

Something like this but bigger and fixed to the wall. umbra-fotodrop-photo-display.jpg

If you want something properly, then keep an ear out for the weather and pop down after a storm. It's amazing what turns up.

Something like the deadfall might work as a with some LED lights instead of a floor lamp when I finally clear some space behind the sofa to put one in.

I've messaged my Dad's friends who live on the coast as thats who we're staying with in a couple of weeks to see if they happen to come across a piece of driftwood that might work while they're out walking their dog on the beach before we come down.

Had a walk around the town I used to live in this afternoon, ran in to one of my former colleagues from when I worked at the military place, was really weird to actually see someone I knew again after so long.
