Yup, I needed to get a grip last night, that outward confidence really should start turning itself in to internal confidence some time soon! He messaged first thing to apologise for being quiet last night, long day at work and exhausted etc.

In money updates got the onepoll payment landed which is useful as I need to buy some new work shoes - the heel of the pair I've been wearing since November has split and the ones I like are £40 in the Clarks sale - generally I don't like to pay so much for work shoes but these are comfy as I've had a pair in the same style but another colour in the past. So that money will be withdrawn from paypal and paid off the credit card straight away.

Shortly after posting the above I fell asleep on the sofa, been feeling rough all day - and have definitely come down with a cold.

So dosing up on lemsips and spent the evening exploring the new Swagbucks layout, not a fan too white although on the homepage not a vast amount has changed I'm really not a fan of the new SBTV layouts. Annoyingly a lack of surveys means that while I was aiming to cash out in a couple of days short of a miracle it'll be about another week before I can redeem for my target amount (I aim for 200 sb a day which means I can redeem £100 every 3 months or so).

On the upside although this weekend is going to be really busy I'm doing an overnight shift which means I'll get paid extra for the night and the next morning when I'll be locking up after everyone leaves.

Did a small but not too cheap shop earlier, mainly stuff I needed to buy like razor blades (biggest pack so expensive but cheaper per blade refill), and weirdly reduced tampons - reduced by nearly 2/3 because the box is damaged but none missing from the box, seemed odd but a bargain is a bargain.

Horrible cold - hope that goes soon scuba - the weather has been very weird recently, that probably hasn't helped! Apparently they are predicting a hot August!

I'm currently blaming a slightly chilly bike ride the other day - was fine until then! Although when I say slightly chilly I mean while I was taking it easy riding in the shade as it was too warm to push hard.....

The lemsip and early night plan seems to have stopped it getting any worse, I just feel bad because I didn't swim this week, but I suspect jumping in to a lake to swim a mile wouldn't have helped matters.

Cold feels like its completely cleared up which is good news as Tuesday night I have the third date.

In less then moneysaving news I have just booked a hotel for my friends annual meet up in Yorkshire, £70 for a hotel for two nights, am giving another friend a lift up so hopefully she'll chip in for the fuel.

Have also been looking at fitness trackers which I can use for swimming and link to Bounts and/or Pact. I'm liking the look of the misfit shine, its the higher spec model but seems to be mostly about its depth rating so I'd be ok to swim and possibly even do some relatively shallow diving in it (if I ever get back in to my scuba). I can also be worn in a few different ways one of which is as a pendant necklace which actually looks quite pretty - although that mount costs almost as much as the tracker itself!

Going to try to hit instagc to get to the £50 I've set as my target and cash it out as amazon as at the moment its pennies cheaper on there than it is in John Lewis once you take in to account delivery charges.

Didn't hit my insta target but did decide to just cash in what was there and order the Shine.

Date 3 was as good as the previous 2. You'll note that I am home, and posting therefore I am being remarkably good and have not yet invited him home with me, equally other than the first night when we were rather drunk he has been a total gent and hasn't asked me back to his. Hopefully we'll do something later in the week, likely be either Friday or Saturday.

In other positive news thanks to some changes to the schedule of guests at work I have tomorrow off so am currently looking up walking routes near country pubs in the hope that the weather will be good and I can get out and stretch my legs and have a nice lunch somewhere (or more likely a picnic as I have bread in the freezer and am sure there are sandwich fillings to be created from the cupboards).

Today I didn't really get out of the house for too long - took myself out on the bike for an hour as Bounts are giving extra points for an hour long bike ride twice a week at the moment.

Still feeling remarkably relaxed about the whole dating him thing, we're not chatting as often now as we were but then "meeting" via a dating app that would be expected, thoroughly enjoying the time I do spend with him, generally feels very relaxed and we never seem to run out of things to talk about. Long may this relaxed state continue in my head!

Hit my redemption threshold on perk tonight so have redeemed for £10 paypal as usual.

This mornings post was my water bill.

I am currently almost £150 in credit, so they're going to kindly adjust my DD after the next payment to £1 a month until April. Am hoping that next year they'll calculate the bill more accurately so I'm not stupidly in credit by this point.

Swimming tonight was a disaster, just couldn't find my rhythm, normally I'm a 5 stroke bilateral breather, tonight I was lucky to get 3 strokes before wanting to breathe, and that was before the swallowing and inhaling water incidents started!

I also got a small amount of water in to one ear, normally it doesnt bother me but it felt incredibly cold and was making me feel quite disoriented at times - possibly a hangover effect of last weeks cold.
