    Triathlon done.

    1 hour 37 mins.

Absolutely thrilled with the time as I was expecting 2 hours. But the bike section was much quicker than I anticipated - the flat course and faster bike obviously helped more than I thought.

Had a clear out of the email backlog - found emails from GFK with voucher codes on them so have claimed £5 amazon.

Hit the redemption thresholds on two survey sites, onepoll and opinonworld, so have £10 in paypal already and waiting for another £40 which should arrive within a month.

Taken another pile of books to work with me this afternoon so thats another 4 out of the house, just need to declutter everything else.

Just redeemed for another £10 amazon. Resisted the urge to check on the current prices of things on my wishlist so that I don't being more stuff in to the house yet.

Had a 5 minute tidy up around the house and managed to chuck out a carrier bag of stuff. Which is worrying. I decided to take a break and try not to worry about it and did no more house work.

Headed out on a 40 min bike ride, explored a slightly different route as am looking for ways to avoid some of the steeper hills when I'm getting home - the down side of living at the top of the hill - one would mean cycling about half way up the long steep section then turning off on to a long and less steep section to avoid the corner on a steep narrow section.

Just planning how I'm going to get in to London tomorrow morning for the swim. Not liking the look of the train times I'll have to face!

    Great Swim done.

    1 mile in 41.54.

    So thats

    400m in 9.14
    750m in 18.03
    1600m in 41.54

Pacewise I'm relatively happy with the consistancy, so my target for the 1500m in August is sub 35 mins.

This last few weeks I've taken a step back from money making/saving somewhat. Oddly other than expected expenditures on travel and events like my swims I've actually spent less on things like groceries (and work's been pretty quiet).

I've also taken a step out of my safe locked in the house antisocialness and went on a date on Friday night. Lovely evening and he was a total gentleman, who has already asked me out again. So date 2 is planned, and rather scary - just hoping the weather is reasonable so I can walk to the restaurant (its a little over a mile from home).

It's a long time (if ever) since I dated properly, most former boyfriends have been friends or aquaintances first so am feeling very unsure about how to handle things but am sure I'll muddle through if it's meant to work out its meant to work out!

There have been relatively few money updates lately.

So date 2 was last night, restaurant in the village - distance wise roughly half way between where we each live. Another really nice night chatting and getting to know each other. Not yet made plans to see each other again but he did say he was going to see his parents this weekend and I've a busy one at work so likely be sometime next week now.

Which means I have to get back in to good money habits this week as I've been slacking on things like swagbucks (currently 5 days behind my planned cash out date so need ot get earning there to try and pull it forward).

So am I. Although currently doing the slightly neurotic thing where he's hardly messaged this evening and I'm wondering why.....I know he said he was busy at work on Monday and I know his job means long hours at times, but can't help worrying about if it means I'm more interested than he is post date/hes out with other people (not that its a problem if he is since 2 dates is definitely not time to worry about that) while I'm still home alone doing nothing interesting, with no other possible dates. Meh. This is why I don't *do* dating. Zero self confidence despite outwardly being pretty confident and secure.

Roll on the weekend when I'll be too busy to worry about these things!
