Date night with the bloke was another very nice evening, meal in a restaurant in town then spent the night at his. Definitely a case of the more time I'm spending with him the more I like him.
Work wise we have another function this weekend so the rest of the week is thankfully quiet so we can get the prep done, am going to be doing the extra hours again so thats another extra chunk of cash to chuck at the credit card after payday. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Had a busy weekend, work was hectic but fun at the time.
We've a fairly quiet week this weeks so I've booked some time off and am planning to go see my parents over the Bank Holiday weekend, had hoped to see the bloke for a quick drink tonight but he's got a few deadlines looming so has long days and cross time zone video conferences to deal with, it's a shame but hopefully we'll be able to get together when I'm back next week.
Been sorting out some of the things I brought down here that I really don't need - dead useful stuff like bedding for a double bed when I only have a king size here and the double is at Dad's. Equally there are things I left when I moved which I always intended to go back for but haven't got around to going back yet.
Need to get it all out to the car as soon as it stops raining. Also need to dig out the digital pump and reinflate the old cars slow punctured tire and move that one over to my allocated space whilst I'm away. Once am back I'll take it and see if I can get it through an MOT without spending a fortune then have another go at getting it sold. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Am safely back in the north. The drive up was not the most fun I've ever had - standing traffic on the M6 at 1am......
Tonight on the other hand am sat in bed with a large bottle of water and my kindle auto refreshing while I wait for the new Terry Pratchett book to magically appear on it. I also have tissues. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Tissues were very needed.
Book was heartbreaking in places, for both the events and the knowing it is the last. I picked up a physical copy of it earlier in Mr S (used points to pay for it) and found myself tearing up when the author profile on the cover used the past tenses to describe PTerry.
I'll re-read it in a couple of days.
Was a bit of a spendy day really over all as I also spent £13 in Aldi on their cookware stuff, planned to buy a wok as I always used to like stirfry but its almost impossible to do in a frying pan so picked up a lovely bright blue one, a small green one egg frying pan and a square and an oblong roasting dish (one blue, one green) as they're a more practical size than the big one I already have at home - and cheaper for the two than replacing the one I broke would have been! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Swam with Dad on Sunday morning at the local pool, a 25m pool really is a rather boring place to swim!
Saw the news today about the triathlete who died over the weekend, absolutely awful news for his family.
Spent most of this morning rearranging the stuff I want to bring home in to as few bags as possible, which has included arranging to send another 14 DVD's to MusicMagpie and CEX.
Attempting to get my lappy connected to Dad's printer so I can take the CEX stuff to the local collect plus depot when I go in to town tomorrow with Mum before I drive south again. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hair cut and dropped off the CEX package this morning.
Drive back felt like it took forever - left about 2pm and arrived at 7pm, although I did stop and get lunch and then had a second stop for a coffee break when the weather was particularly horrid.
Back to work tomorrow, cba to iron shirts tonight so will have to get up a little earlier to sort that out. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Feeling a little bit hungover today.
A friend has just been posted back to my local Garrison town so to save him from his usual failed attempts to find himself a Tinder date on a Friday night I invited him over to mine for a few drinks. Turned in to one or two too many drinks, and a distinct lack of sleep before I had to be at work this morning.
One thing I had forgotten about said friend is how much fun he can be in bedPity he's also a bed hog - I really don't enjoy waking up hanging off the side of my own bed.
Feeling a little bit weird about the situation with the bloke, he's seemed a little distant over the last week or so but could be so many different reasons I'm trying not to worry about it but distinctly feels like he's getting ready to end things. Will see how that pans out this week. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Vanished from much of my online life for the last couple of weeks - just been feeling quite meh for some reason.
Things with the bloke are still undecided, just when I think he's lost interest he suddenly gets chatty again for a few days, still seeing him most weeks, although this week I'm doing mainly evening shifts (and typically he's out of the area tomorrow which is my day off).
Spent this weekend in Yorkshire with friends, nice weekend although not fabulous overall - had a cross contamination/mislabelled food issue in a restaurant and found myself eating shellfish which although I wouldn't say I'm allergic to I am getting quite badly sensitive to, so one pavement pizza outside the restaurant and several pints of water later I spent part of the night in the corner of the campervan the group were sat in hoping the stomach cramps and queasy feeling would ease up and the later parts of it in my hotel room wanting to rip my stomach out as everytime I lay down it cramped up again. Also feeling fat as a result from the bloating that I also suffer from when I go near anything shellfish/fish oil based. Hoping that will resolve itself before I have to put proper trousers on again for work!
In other news have started to apply for other jobs - been asked by one agency to give them a call tomorrow to arrange an initial interview, the job has roughly the same salary as I'm on now but its about 15 miles from where I live so greater fuel costs but would mean semi regular hours so I could go back to my plans for a second job evenings/weekends or just get back in to mystery shopping. Will see how it pans out when I call in the morning. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Just been in for the initial interview with the agency, the position is a very exciting sounding one, would bring together a few of my somewhat varied skills from previous jobs. The salary could still potentially be a sticking point but the agency are putting me forward. Had a look at the company website and am hoping that my willingness to spend a good 10 minutes fussing the office dog while I was waiting for the consultant might be a little point in my favour as well as my skill set (every little helps and all that).
Working through a fair number of surveys at the moment, nothing overly close to a significant payout but some of the ones with smaller threshold are close to payout, there's enough in my account to cover the payment due out in a few days so will hopefully have enough to cover next months without using wages by next months payment due - meaning the money from my wages can be used to start over paying again. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Working weekend done. I have a ridiculous amount of time off owed to me - best part of three working weeks between holiday entitlement and TOIL and given I work in hospitality we're getting ready for our Christmas busy period so no idea when I'm going to have chance to use some of it up!
That said if I get a new job that will become irrelevant and I'll enjoy the extra cash.
Currently snuggled up on the sofa with a pile of blankets, and still feeling cold - don't want to put the central heating on as I know its not actually cold in the house I'm just not feeling great, was absolutely frozen at work all morning even when the guests wanted windows opened as they were too warm. Found a slightly elderly pack of Lemsip drinks so have endured one in the hope that it'll help.
Edit to add.
Just finished a survey which took me over the redemption threshold for that site so in a change from my usual ordering amazon vouchers I've chosen to order a voucher for Sainsbugs since that's my usual supermarket (better opening hours and easier to get to than Lidl who I'd prefer to use if not for negotiating the one way system in town centre). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
