  • #111 reporting an OP of £1000 for February - hope to add a bit more to this by the end of the month, squirrelling away as much as I can while I'm still earning, as back to full time student status for a year in September, and as it's in an offset account rather than gone forever, we can draw on it if needed when I'm not earning.

    Mortgage free 04/03/2025. Thanks to this site and lots of overpayments bit by bit.
    Next stop: house repairs, holiday fund, replace our very old cars, more financial security/early retirement savings.🤞

    Today paid off £175.00 off the Halifax mortgage.


    So far in Jan I paid off £505.00.


    I am hoping to beat this in February.
