Hi i was just wondering if anyone has had any look with hardship through fos,as i am looking on here every day and there doesnt seem to be anything happening.:mad:0
-
me too!! banks ignoring it and FOS doing nothing but agreeing with banks!!0
-
havent even heard about the so called waiver review i thought the result was to be published early november or am i wrong.0
-
There has been a settlement today on the consumer action group website with Abbey I believe which went to the FOS who contacted the bank who took the circumstances into account and settled the case with the poster.0

just read the story of simon on cag site and just wanted to say what an inspiration he is.His sense of houmour at a time when most people would give up is truly amazing. So anyone in the position of trying to claim hardship dont give up keep on with the fight.0

i see on the bbc news that the waiver is to remain in place, well did we really expect any less from the bank loving fsa. Seems like they can get away with anything .0

After talking to them on the phone and god-knows-how-many letters, they have now decided to send me a stock letter again. More delaying tactics.
Sent a letter off to the ombudsmen to see what happens next.0 -
it is so frustrating i know when all the articles you read say banks must continue to deal with hardship cases and they dont. But the ombudsman is no better ive been waiting 18 weeks and still no further on with my hardship case.0

I think someone needs to take a bank to court over their failure to recognise a hardship case. They will continue to ignore any hardship until they are actually told to do so....0
-
A few people already have. Unfortunately the court wasn't really interested..0
