That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

    Hi All
Logging a £8.72 spend today. Which got me 2 whole YS chickens at £2.60 each, a YS loaf at 71p which was lovely Warburton instead of supermarket own brand for the same price almost. 2 packs of hot dog rolls for 13p each. 2 stew packs with 1 kilo of veg including carrots, onions, swedes & parsnips for 78p each & a YS guacamole for 46p. Oh and a pack of YS cinnamon bagels for 68p. Plus a pack of normal priced loo roll.
Won't be shopping tommorow so have 17 days left to go.

I spent £26.88 in Sainsburys this morning, bringing me to £115.01 spent in total on groceries, cleaning products, pet food, toiletries, booze etc since 27 December. This leaves me with £134.99 to last till 31 January. Aiming for a NSD tomorrow :)

If it was only in the last 38 hours or so and its still cold you might br able to cook a lot of it and refreeze?

Needed a few bits today and spent £15.03 - would have been a bit less but DH picked up crumpets which weren't on the list!
