Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Hi All

Am going to log a NSD now to keep me super motivated today. I still have £1.50 left from my weeknd tips which I can either, use to pay for a bus ride, or if I can manage it, push both my bike & sons bike to his school later (4miles away) then I can claim that money to buy some fruit & a stamp. Which as its from tips is free money. Yes thats the crazy world I live in, my money, free money :)

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker Car Insurance Carver! Debt-free and Proud!
Just bought a loaf of bread and some butter £2, have updated signature already. It has helped the homemade mushroom soup down quite nicely. Quite nice to go into a shop.

    Now ready for a nap!

I have £60 to last me till pay day (just for food, not for anything else), so I am still within budget! I am so pleased :)

I did a weekly shop of £35.14 this morning in Aldi, and apart from a few other bits and bobs, I wont need to spend any other money on food this week.

I am so pleased, it looks like I'll come in under budget for the 1st time EVER!
    Lets hope so!
  • 1st grocery spend of the month today. Got everything for the January meal plan. Will def. need a few fresh bits before February, but have allocated £30 for these (£10 a week with 3 weeks to go).
Everything else is already in our holiday pot as we're raring to get saving. :)
  • So, £12.80 spent here today, including DH buying himself a coffee and toasted tea cake whilst waiting to get his car lights fixed!

We need to go to CostC* later in the week for salmon, teabags and tissues (which are currently on offer) so that will be a bigger spend.

Making broccoli and stilton soup for tonight - broccoli cost me £1 in the greengrocers and stilton was £2.75 in the Co-**. I expect I could have bought both cheaper elsewhere but that would have meant getting the car out to drive to a sm instead of just walking up to the shops in town. At least I have the rest of the soup ingredients in the cupboard and some ciabatta in the freezer.
