£8 in L!dl for bread, stock up on butter, ham and Danish pastries for DS and builder's lunch and £18 in W8rose, where they have organic Seville oranges. Got some for my friend (cost for her already deducted) and a couple of Kg for me, as well as 4 Kg sugar, bananas, salad and lemons, also organic, for the marmalade, EXPENSIVE! And some YS bread for the freezer.
At least now I am stocked up and have enough to last me another couple of days, hoping to make tomorrow a NSD. Going to update sig now. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Hello everyone the weather here is yukky again (rainy and windy) but luckily I didn't have to go out today so that's an NSD (9).
On Saturday I popped out again after the supermarket shop so need to add £6.99 to signature. I made a slow roasted pork joint and it was yummy! We have 6 x 200g portions left over afterwards.
Yesterday I took the kids to a birthday party and my DS ate so much that DH and decided to have the semi prepared roast (I'd parboiled the potatoes and prepared the veg for DH to put on) for tonight's tea and have sandwiches (leftover pork) after the kids were in bed. It did mean having to pop to the corner shop to get bread, and a few other items at £4.62.
Tonight will be the second roast and we will have 5 x 200g portions of pork left, it's all portioned up in the freezer. Tomorrow I am doing Salmon (FF) and getting some Super 6 salad veg to serve with it and then will use the salad up with some pork and wraps on Weds.
Will make sure I haven't missed any spends then update signature later.
Hope those feeling ill feel better soon x

Made it through the day without going to the shops, so NSD up to now, however..... I have a very tiny bit of milk left. And no bread (well I have some in freezer but thats for my diet), so I'm thinking I'm gonna go to Mr T's tonight to top up rather get a delivery for tomorrow (I have delivery saver pass). The reason for this is if I shop online, I have to spend at least £25 (or they charge me £4), whereas if I go to the shops, I don't!
I need: Bread, milk, oxo, veg, fruit and possibly juice. If I go to the shop there is always a chance I could pick up some YS stuff too. Will see what time DH gets in from work before I decide what to do.

Grocery challenge 2017 JAN: £5.56/£3500 -
Well, checking in with a weekly spend of £56.58 which also included a new ironing board cover (needed as ours clean ripped in an unsewable fashion). The eggs I needed to buy the other day, OH bought so didn't come out of the shopping budget (he had some change in his wallet)
Meal plan stuck to last week and one prepped for this week. All breakfasts taken to work and only one lunch was bought (that is an achievement!).
Total for the month £246.43/£350 with one week left. Have updated my spreadsheet so will do the signature next.
Agree with who mentioned this making shopping more exciting. In a sad, sad way. I loved telling OH off for putting X in the trolley when Y was cheaper. Satisfying doesn't even BEGIN to cover it.How long til pay day?
March Grocery Challenge - £69.54 / £3000 -
Evening.
Yesterday was my 7th nsd of the month. Today is student loans day and so I have spent a fortune!
I now have no money left so back to the frugal life tomorrow. I need to work out when to do this weeks food shopping. I had planned on going tomorrow but have a few *ahem* purchases arriving so don't want to miss them.
Tonight was pizza, chips and garlic bread from the meal planUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0
