Hi all
Hope u all had good Christmas. I haven't posted since September but have kept following the thread and think I've done ok but not kept track.
Now OH has been home for a couple of months we're starting to get the hang of things but with no job yet we are going to have to seriously tighten our belts so Count me in for £100 for January
Freezer quite full so am going to try and only shop for fresh stuff (fingers crossed).

Well I managed to go over last month and I am totally cross with myself so this month I am going to be ruthless. Going to do a little shopping tomorrow and maybe nip to the butchers will see. Tomorrow morning I am going to go through the fridge/freezer and cupboards and come up with a meal plan.:)Debt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁

In exactly the same boat, so don't feel like it's just you!
Good idea about the meal planning. Im awful for nipping to the shop to grab something to make a meal and spending a small fortune:o

roundthebend I do the same I go for a couple of things and spend a small fortune even worse when DH is with me. I am going to try and cut down the amount of times I go to the shop so in theory I shouldn't spend as much. Hopefully !!!!:)Debt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁

Exactly the same as us!
I'm also on the no spend day challenge and have set a very high target of 20 days. I have enough in this house to jot need to shop, except for fruit, fresh veg, milk and bread. So I'm going to avoid the shops. No matter how tempting!£1k emergency fund (#33) £140/£1000 10.4%
