Just a very small spend yesterday as I'd forgotten to buy veg for Sunday dinner. Popped into the farm shop on the way back from buying DH some new shoes, which were desperately needed as he had holes in his old ones and we are going to a dinner/dance next weekend. Spent the grand sum of 42p on cabbage & carrots. I've also had 17 NSDs so far. Hoping for a couple more before I start on February budget.

I'm still within budget I think need to add a few receipts to my total! Will report back.
ETA - total currently stands at £249.67/£300 so well within budget and shouldn't have to buy anything else this week.

£10.48 spent this morning on a few items, some for the food bank which is open tomorrow morning. I asked what they were most desperately short of last time and they said sugar and juice - so that's what I got along with a few tins that had already brought earlier. (we drop off once a month even though its open twice weekly)
Tonight is curry which I must remember to put in oven in a bit and have taken some minced beef out of freezer for spaghetti bolognaise tomorrow.
Hope everyone is well and keeping their money in their pockets/purses as much as they are able.
    MARCH £62.38/250

I know, thanks for your encouraging words. I really wanted to live for one entire week without spending anything, as if we did not have the money, that was was the whole point of the exercise, to try and live as if DH was already retired and we were living (well) on a very low budget.

    Ah well....

Hit the YS jackpot in Marks today, used the £5 voucher again and for a total of £21 I got masses of great veg and salads, as well as 2 boxes of 10 eggs (not YS, long date). Going to update sig now. If all goes ok, tomorrow should be a NSD for me.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
