Doing so well this month!
I hope I can keep up this pace throughout the year, because I am going to need it.
Today's spend were £2.69 n the market, getting fresh beets and neeps, a big bag of blackening bananas, bread, milk and eggs from Asda £2.88, and £5.56 in Waitrose on the Haggis, some humus and a couple of tins of Scotch Broth!
Forgot to add 30p on a reduce lettuce on Wednesday. Will add that in now.
I may need to get more cheese, cat food and bleach in the week, maybe some tomatoes too. But not much to get before February budget kicks in.Keep reading books!
July grocery challenge START: £150.

Checking in for hopefully the last time this month as the final weekly food shop before pay day is complete! Reporting a weekly spend of £47.33 my monthly total is £225.08 which means I'm finishing the month £14.92 under budget. Fingers crossed there should be no reason for us to buy food before next weekend which will be after pay day so part of the February challenge!
Thank you to everyone who started and kept this challenge going, I'm starting the year much more focussed and motivated! See you all in February20p Savers (£22.20/£100)

£36.09 spent in Aldi today, leaving me £12.25 for next Saturday but it *should* only be a top up shop ie bread and fruit. I'm surprised at just how tight it has been this month, I had hoped to come in way under budget, still at least I haven't gone over - fingers crossed for next Saturday!!MFW

Hi,
My spend last week was £41.31, no vouchers used- I think I'm learning at last
Gillpaid all debts off 2024 yay0 -
Quick update - overspent on food by £16.12 and on toiletries/ household by about £6 - but don't need a toiletry/ cleaning budget for at least 4- 5 months now!!
Have decided that our "one a week" bottle of wine is not coming out of food budget either - as we usually buy in bulk when on half price offer and has extra points.
Just going to count up how many meals I will have left after payday on Friday so I can plan my shopping list for Mr A**i on Wednesday - to use the voucher. Have a heavy stuff Mr T delivery due on Thursday pm so that will be me done for the first few weeks of Feb.
Keep up the good work everyone.
Next month, I hope to increase the number of NSDs - however I keep spotting bargains on my daily walk - perhaps I should leave my bag at home!!! LOL.July 16 £95/£200
Nov 16 £0/£200

No NSD yesterday as I spent £20.80 in M&S. Needed some wine to take to a family gathering so thought a couple of the M&S meal deals would provide us with the wine as well as easy meals for today and tomorrow. Back to the use-up challenge on Tuesday!#Life isn't about waiting for the storms to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain #We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us #If you focus on what you have left behind, you will never see what lies ahead - Gusteau/RatatouilleGC 2022: £0/£2,500 total spend0

262.30 out of 300 however I forgot sugar, chilli sauce and dry shampoo so may pop out for them later. This is the last day of the challenge for me, so expect to be at least 30 under budget which I am chuffed about especially as was a 5 weekend month. Will stash that towards next Christmas food and wine bill. Will budget 300 also for Feb with the intention of coming under and stashing some more for Xmas. Hurrah!0
