no need to read further; that's where you went wrong.
Hopefully in future you will remember to check prices before you buy, not after.

I've seen exactly the same thing written about Aldi, Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys, Lidl, Co-op. For everyone who won't shop in Asda again another who won't shop Tesco will then end up going to Asda. All that happens is the group of people who say they are never going to shop in whichever shop again just end up like a group shuffling around and the store just end up with the same number of customers due to this shuffling effect.

What a mean lot! It is annoying if something you bought is found elsewhere at a lower price and it is quite legitimate to have a rant about it. Just the term "rip-off" doesn't apply in this case.
