I'm on meters and tbh I'm not paying £50 per meter to switch, then to switch back again when we leave (as the meters would have to be replaced since they were here when we moved in).

Just saved £12 buying the rabbits litter and food online- hooray!

Love paying off my debt (hope I'm not the only one). Can't wait to get rid of all of it and have some money to myself and start saving for a house :D

Put aside some money for debt today. I'm not sure really what the 'actual' payment is as obviously I put aside money earlier in the month then had to take some of it back :(

Anyway - pot for debt repayment stands at £1060.31 since starting this challenge :)

Just looked back and my last recorded update on the front page is 1096 or something. Wow. I really did eat into that pot (its around £500 I've just topped it up by and only have £10 or so to show for it). :(

Still, at least its there to stay this time.

Plus my £50 from YouGov came through this week so that's my BF all paid back!

Paid off another £104.50, so my totals are now:

    122 £2671.08/£30,113 8.87%

I'm adding new bills on top as soon as they arrive, to make sure the reduction really is a permanent one, and not going to be cancelled out by paying the next new bill. :)

It makes it seem like it is going down a lot slower than it should be, but last year I made the mistake of not including bills and ended up worse off at the end of the year than the beginning, so at least now I know this is a real reduction, and already have money put aside for all the looming bills.
  • Hooray for payday no 1 this month! £933 paid to close the interest free bathroom loan and £75 to credit cards. Yay!! Only problem is this iPad is misbehaving so much think I might have to buy a new one (half joke!) this is the third reply I have tried to post grrr.
