Sad that's all I can do this time
How gutted would you be if you lost £50 on the street? It's not leftover change after getting the shopping in, it's REAL money and you've whacked it on a debt rather than spending it! Well done!!

Ah yes I did manage to find it - just before people started offering me half the price I'd listed it for! I'm happy to look at offers but some people are taking the mickey!Yeah, you're still able to set your "auto decline" and "auto accept" amounts on the listing. I did it on a listing I put on 3 days ago. I didn't know about the seller dashboard though. Just looked at mine and I was surprised by total sales amount too
In a way it's easier as all of our big bills are covered all at once then I don't need to save much money to cover the rest of the month - just what's needed for the annoying small things that come out part way through the month (phone contract, netflix etc.) and food shopping. I wouldn't mind if my other half got paid in the middle of the month though so we were getting a wage in every other week!Thank you for such an encouraging post. I have no idea how people who only get paid once a month cope with paying off debt. One thing for certain. If ever our business gets to the stage we can afford to employ people, pay will be weekly or fortnightly.

Using YNAB im still a minus on the available money to budget (maybe ive done it wrong but once the cashback is even with my current account it will be fine)

Hi, please please please can I join? I've had a month of one lightbulb moment after another, instigating little changes and have decided I really REALLY need to do this properly. Once and for all.
I'm currently working out my total debt and then will work through the thread, set up spreadsheets and start tackling this thing.
One question - I have an agreement from YEARS ago whereby I am paying off credit card debt through Moorcroft - this is set fixed at £50 a month. Because this isn't incurring any interest (I finish August 2019!) do I include this figure? It's an additional £2800 that in my head isn't really a debt because it's not growing any bigger - does that make sense? Would paying it off improve my credit rating? Such a noob
.
Anyway looking forward to getting a number and posting my first update - I'm going to include payment from 1st January as I have already started addressing this and need a bit of encouragement.
Put me down for £3512.14 - overdraft, credit card and Next account. I think this will be more than enough for one year, especially as I have lived in my overdraft for over 10 years!!!!!Comps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%
