  • Really struggling at the moment. No extra money coming in and everything going out, MOT, car insurance on 2 cars which I've been paying in one lump sum rather than monthly to save money. Plus CC from holiday in August. To make my overpayment this month it's going to take me into my overdraft but if I don't pay it I will be another month away from paying off the mortgage. Need to weigh up whether overdraft fees are more than interest fee on mortgage! Also mentally its paid off in February and then I will be £1,500 better off each month.

    Hi all,

Sorry for my long term absence. I have now exceeded my goal for this year, however I also acrued a lot more debt when I split from my partner. However, I'm determined to pay off as much as possible this year and become debt free by the end of 2016.
