    44 here...

Have decided to throw money at debt and then start saving pots (posted previously about building saving pots as well as paying debt off). Debt is more of a mind-thing and want it gone!

Have a payment ready in the bank account for £860.60 towards the debt!

Leaving around £3650 to pay. That seems amazing to me considering on the thread last year it was about 9K more than that at this point.

Paid off £47.56 from Direct Debit just before Xmas

Have been really poorly over Christmas with viral meningitis so the debt busting has gone on the back burner, but on the plus side being in hospital meant a few NSD!! Hope everyone had a great Christmas!
    Baby due 21/06/2017 :)
  • Yes it was worse than I had anticipated...that's what comes from burying my head in the sand...

I did reach my target of paying off #101/£2500 last year but I don't think that can be celebrated when I have doubled my debt!

Well enough looking back, time to move forwards...

    My debt is:

    £19,000

I am aiming to pay £2000 by the end of 2015, I think that is realistic considering I will likely be out of a full time job and wanting to get this business up and running. I feel very motivated but worried, I have to make this work as I have invested £6000 :o

I've let the spare room and could not currently survive without that extra income right now! Plan on selling things on Ebay, making the most of the garden by growing my own, making to sell at craft fairs...any other ideas gratefully considered..:)

This is all of it and it all needs to go so that I can save for a deposit on a house.
  • I've paid £50 off so far. Slow and steady start but had a lot of outgoings since it's Christmas. I've spent far to much on everyone but I haven't got into any debt doing it. I just haven't got out of much either!!
