    Morning all,

I got a bonus from work this month so have managed to pay a mighty £350 off the credit card today. That leaves a remaining balance of £130 which I probably won't be able to clear till the end of May - getting there though!

    #009 £2253/4683 (48%)

More payments to follow later this week.... :)
    Starting 2016 debt-free :D

I've been given a £25 loyalty payment from my new bank today so I've sent it straight to a credit card. My new total is:

    #10 £1840 / £3000
    SPC #229= £103.76(2014)
    VSP #11 = £74.11(2014) £85.55 (2015)
    Crazy Clothes Challenge 2014 £33/£100, 2015 £44 / £100
    DFBXmas2015 #10 £3000 / £3,000 (100%) :j

Hi all, hope you've all been getting on OK!

I'm Great to see some people at target already, it's still so early in the year (although I have no idea where so much of the year has gone already).

I have been checking up on my balances and am here to declare totals so far:

    £2309.59/3500 (62.41%)

I'm hoping to get that to a rounder number soon (interest). I'm hoping that I can get myself to target by end of June, but if I do, I will probably just increase my target for the year. My big downfall at the moment is that I'm currently working temporarily in an office in the city centre, and have to walk past shops every day on the way to and from work. It's very handy if I need to get birthday presents for people, but sometimes hard to resist...

    Hi all

I may be back here for a few months soon. Miscalculated the fees for the purchase of the flat, well my broker did, so it's left us very critical in the money stakes. Thank the lords I got a huge bonus otherwise I think we'd be having to cancel buying.

So if/when we do complete we are going to need to get the essentials on credit. New fridge/freezer, washing machine etc. Hoping to find a bargain or two over the BH weekends next month.

Never nice to welcome someone back to this thread, but it's all for a good cause! Must be exciting times for you both, even if it is financially straining. Remember to stay MSE when out shopping for white goods etc, your fridge DOES NOT NEED BLUETOOTH :rotfl:
