Re mobile phones
My contract came to an end with Virgin and they wanted to put my monthly bill up from £10 to £15 for no extra. Checked around for a better deal and found that Asda were offering £5 a month. Phoned Virgin to disconnect and they offered me £2.50 contract to stay with them!!!
Good going. Very impressed.http://static.moneysavingexpert.com/images/forum_smilies/sport-smiley-001.gifHi all, thought I'd pop in to let you know it's all gone pete tong today mehh. Our offer that had originally been accepted on a flat has now been rejected and they want £3k more
I am reluctant to buy from them now out of principal but there's no other places out there and we're desperate.
mehhh what to doooooooooo
So sorry to hear this - so unfair. Happened opposite way to me in 2006 - person buying my house pulled out 2 hours before contracts due to be signed - my house contents were in a moving van travelling to my new address - on my own with 2 kids it was horrendous. Anyway 2 days later agents contacted and said buyer wanted back in but for £10k less - you can imagine what I told him especially as it was 3 days before Xmas. I sold it the following month for £2k more as it was already a real bargain. I can't stand unfair people. All the best Mat-Lock.http://static.moneysavingexpert.com/images/forum_smilies/angry-smiley-030.gifBlitz that mortgage
