    Baby due 21/06/2017 :)
  • Today is hubby's payday and paying off the bills puts me in such a positive mood. I also just went to pay the car tax and have now found that i can pay this by monthly direct debit, which is going to be a great help to us.

I'm looking forward to when i'm debt free and can pay certain bills in full straight away but for now this is how it has to be. My update is

    #055 £1233.64/£10,000
    Emergency Fund £0/£500
    £365 in 365 Days #18 £520/£520
    £2.00 Savers Club 2017 #11 £300/£300

Wished I never opened hubby's mail as there's two council tax arrears from 2012 and 2010 totalling £547.17  might need to dip into to the mortgage fund to clear them....will wait on hubby coming home then discuss it with him see if he want to do that or just pay it in instalments xx

  • Pay day, pay day, pay day :j:j:j

Had a bit of back pay in this one too, so that means a larger than usual student loan payment and hopefully a bit more left over by the end of March!

Unfortunately, we've got an expensive month coming up with the balance of our scuba club trip and the car insurance for both cars all due. However, in the meantime, the total is looking fairly healthy....

    £4992.73/£15,000.00 33.3%

I'm hoping to top it up above £5,000 after doing some sums tonight, should be able to add another £100 or so on.

Frankly I'm tempted to keep the car insurance cash in my pocket and pay monthly! Sigh, it's a slippery slope

If it helps your cash flow in the short term, it's not that much more expensive to pay monthly. It would be worse to over extend and then need to use a credit card for something else later on. But I know how you're feeling, I've got the same temptation...
