Great
Did you find it through the google tip I gave you or some other way? I ask because the more different ways we can use to find places the more help we can be.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. I found it in Google by asking box scheme + organic food+Northern Ireland
It gave me results on which I found THIS page. I tried to ring the local box scheme and so far can't get a reply. One of the organic farms I contacted was so nice, I'm going to visit them today or tomorrow!0 -
Quick update:
I have managed to contact the local box scheme and am having my first ever Organic Box delivered this Friday :T0 -

Forgot to mention,
I'm getting a box that costs £8 (there is a £10 available)
Staple products each week are potatoes, carrots and onions. Then whatever else is in season. I'm also getting organic eggs, £1.30 per half dozen.0 -
I was just browsing around the web - well actually I was trying to find out if anyone produced organic UHT milk to make my yoghurt with as the last time I attempted it with an organic soya milk it, ermmm, went a bit wrong LOL! - anyway, I came across a company I'd never found before who do a whole range of organic produce, including meat/poultry/fruit/veg/dairy etc and you can buy mail order from anywhere in the UK.
They're called Graig Farm Organics, and are based in Wales, so I wondered if anyone had ever used them, and if so, would you recommend them?
Their range looks fantastic, and quite reasonably priced too compared to some I've looked at, so I'm very tempted to place an order"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

I don't know whether any of you have ever heard of an organic veggie box supplier called Rod and Ben's but I only came across them myself last night.
This is an example of their LARGE box ...
£12.50 Large Box for Week 37
• 4lb new potatoes
• Runner Beans
• Spinach
• Chilli Peppers
• Onions
• Courgettes
• Coriander
• Tomatoes
• 2lb Carrots
• Broccolli
• 2 Lettuce
• 2 French Beans
• Cucumber
• Spring Onions
... and then they have a whole range of separate fruit and veggies listed that you can buy on top, all at extremely good prices too (cheaper than Tesco's organics!)
Now if you buy from them direct they charge £4.99 delivery, which in itself isn't too bad ... BUT ...
If you go through the site that Competitionscafe posted yesterday, The Organic Farmer's Market, they offer FREE delivery on orders over £30 and they supply Rod and Ben's produce at exactly the same prices!
I've no idea what the produce is like yet, as I've only just placed an order last night which I'll get next Friday, but at those prices you can hardly go wrong compared to the measly amounts some companies give you for much more money!
I ordered the large veg box, a 1.8kg organic chicken for £9.45 (again cheaper than Tesco's) and some extra fruit & veggies, eggs etc to make my order up to the £30 to get the free delivery!"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

all fruit/veg is regionally grown too (other than the obvious stuff like bananas)
