We have a long running thread on local box schemes and although it doesn't mention River Nene as a supplier (it will now ) I'm going to merge your question with it so that those searching for organic box schemes can find their information all in one place.

I've been having a weekly delivery from this company for about 2 months now and can't praise them highly enough. I dithered about for ages too until I finally took the plunge.
We are a family of 4 veggies and sometimes have the medium box and occasionally the large but it always has plenty in for a week and stays good and fresh for the whole of that time.
I don't go to the greengrocers or the supermarket for veg now and this has saved me a packet.... who ever buys JUST potatoes at Asda? There's always a little something extra that you didn't know you needed!!!

In the south and west, they operate as riverford and I find their products excellent.

They also have a nice collection of recipes ontheir website

Does anyone have any idea of any companies that would deliver to me in Lowestoft? Norwich is the biggest place near me if it helps !!!

I have just tried to place an order with Rivernene and found you can only pay by credit card. As I do not have one I am upset that I can't have a box delivered.

Would have thought you could pay by cash or cheque after all not everyone has a credit card

I use Riverford and our local distributor is quite happy with a cheque. I'd call and speak to them rather than trying to order on line

My boxes arrived today from Riverford. Look fantastic - just need to work out how to use up Jeruselem Archichokes and the black Kale. I have ordered a fortnightly delivery but I can see that I may have to change to weekly once Christmas is out of the way.
