Glad your scan went well Rambosmum.
I am 23 weeks today. Signed off another 2 weeks with my back issues and now pulled muscle in ribs. Having a joyous time :rotfl:
We can make a list...

I'll also follow Rambosmum across, had my scan earlier this week and also an EDD of 4th Feb! My NT was 1.4mm and my result came back at 1:8000, so I'm sure yours won't be far off that. Got my letter 2 days after the test which was incredibly fast work.
8 weeks until the next scan!0 -

Called in sick to work for the first time today. I'd been doing so well but I'm shattered this morning and my office hasn't got below 24c for weeks now. I just couldn't face going in and sitting in there in this heat, so I've taken the day to rest. Looking forward to the rain!0 -
My edd is 28 dec.
brought forward from 31 dec.
18 weeks today and fed up of being so hot0 -
So I stopped taking the Ondansetron on Monday. Last time I tried to come off it I started throwing up the next day. This week I've felt pretty nauseous but not actually thrown up so I think its finally easing! It'll be nice to have one less pill to take and feel human.
This week I've started getting leaky nipples - to the point where until I can get to the shops this weekend I've had to cut up some pantyliners and stick them in my bra. Its just clear-ish liquid and not soaked through yet but it's not been far off. Also because my belly is getting bigger my 'innie' has started turning into an 'outie'. It's not fully out yet but it's gone from very much in, to half in - half flat with my belly (hope that makes sense)
It's only really just hit me that at my 20 week scan on Tuesday I'll be half way through - its going so quickly and we're really not prepared. It's given us a bit of a kick up the bum to get the house straight and get on with the much needed renovations. It's going to be a busy weekend! (few months!)
Not directly pregnancy related but it's also given me a kick up the bum at work...
I know I'm early but I've just handed in my maternity leave notice. Work are being great in suggesting I plan to take the longest time off but could come back earlier if I wanted to. It works out easier for them because its easier to come back early rather than plan to be off for 2 months then change my mind to the year; and also for me because I don't really have to make any decisions about when to come back until I'm ready to and as a FTM I don't really know yet. So using my annual leave next year too I will/could be off from 16th Nov 2018 to 2nd Jan 2020! Which sounds like such a long time!
I didn't expect this message to be this long when I started but there's a lot to talk about. And even if no-one really reads it, it feels good getting it down 'on paper'.
Hope you're all doing well and your little one's are cooking away nicely. xxLittle One born 19/12/18

Nelliepie definitely easier all round to plan for the whole year off then change your mind. And you don't know how you'll be after the birth or how much you'll like being off (or not).
We are also renovating the house. Started before ttc but it is going very slowly and we conceived quicker than anticipated so aren't going to have as long to do stuff as we had hoped!0 -
Hello! I!!!8217;ve found my way here! I!!!8217;m a slight fraud as I!!!8217;m only 11+6 today! But I had my 12-week scan on Monday and everything was fine. Our Downs risk came back yesterday as 1 in 100,000 so I!!!8217;m relieved about that! EDD is Feb 9th.
Nice to see some familiar names here!0 -
We're currently considering shared parental leave which will see me off for 4.5 months, then back for 6 weeks, then off again. It's what works out financially better as OH has a better shared parental leave policy than I do (6 months full pay).
We were also looking into doing some renovations. We decided to start trying about a month before we moved and were very lucky to catch on the first month so that's made it a little more awkward! We want a full re-wire and a kitchen extension... kinda resigned to the fact that the extension won't happen before baby arrives and there is no way I'm doing that with a new born so might consider it when they're 6 months.0 -
Well done Toots for starting a list! :T
It was bothering me that there were no proper lists on the pregnancy threads anymore.
Back when we had DS1 there was a brilliant list that people updated themselves as and when details changed and had a graduate/baby list of when people's babies had been born etc.
It worked really well and was nice to see easily when people were due and a lovely reminder of all the births of people that had been before
It had been given up months ago - think people were too lazy to add themselves so it just died.
I really missed that this time.
Glad to see people making lists again
Best wishes to all of you in your pregnancies and beyond!Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
