G24 double visit

Hi, can anyone help me please ? I've been stitched up by G24. The driver of my car visited a B&M car park to shop there and left well within 1 hour of entering( the free period is 2 hrs). Later the same day the driver visited the KFC drive through which uses the same car park. Now these lovely people a G24 can only apparently see my car entering on the first visit and leaving on my final visit, the other exit and re entry has been missed/ignored and they insist that my car was ther for 195 minutes !
Any help you can provide will be gratefully received

  • Tell them as you're not in the habit of being accused of lying, there will be an administration charge of £100 for providing the evidence they require.

Just ignore them now, don't pay and don't bother with IAS as people pointlessly lose then panic.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I would suggest that you reduce that to £10. Asking for £100 is totally OTT, but a judge might see that asking for £10 was a genuine attempt to resolve the matter, albeit a "fine" for calling you a liar.

I would appeal to the IAS. Do not identify the driver, but include as much evidence as you can that there were 2 visits.

If the IAS reject your appeal we will know they are a kangaroo court.

I hope that they are reading this. Then, if they refuse the appeal we will know for certain that, given the massive amount of evidence about the unreliability of these cameras, and the frequency of these spurious claims , their decisions lack one iota of credibility.

We can then take the matter to the DfT, motoring organisations, the media, Trading Standards, and our MPs. We can even (perhaps) question the v.a.t. status of any PPCs who refuse to provide a v.a.t. invoice when requested.

They are slowly tightening the noose around their own necks.ldr

Is there, if fact, on;y 1 entrance and exit? could they have missed your middle exits and re-entry. On your appeal to the IAS, you need to ask them to verify just how the PPC checks the log. Do they check an actual picture or some stored info from their cameras reading the registration and using some OCR software.

At the same time, you need to write to the PPC asking for the basis of their charge - contractual charge for parking or liquidated damages.

Adapt post #2 from here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5129399 . The purpose is for them to advise you which method they are using and therefore enabling you to frame your IAS appeal.

But get your IAS appeal ready to send, base it on the facts plus no GPEOL, and advise IAS if the PPC fails to answer your question.
