  • I think it is funny sometimes how the older ones amongst us love to reminisce about the good old days. You know, the memories where we all only paid 1p for a box of chocs in Ts (if we could find any stock after visiting several stores that is).

However, wind forward a couple of years to the present. Switch on your pc, log on to A.com, order 20 x Heroes/Roses and a few fillers and go back to watching tv.

The next day the delivery man turns up with 27 boxes (think he got a bit confused) and the receipt shows that I paid £30 for 20 boxes, generating an apg of £44.

I know it is not as good as the old dtd or apg glitches of a few years ago, but hey, it'll do me fine..:D:D

    This shop actually cost £37.74.

Due to the ASDA Price Guarantee, you're entitled to a voucher of £44.83:

Just one question - are you on Sky for TV? If so do you have your box plugged into the internet?

    Yes, and yes. Why?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that, apologies. Not a good result then :o

Have you considered once you've decided on your predictor to then do the opposite?! :p :rotfl::rotfl:
I've had a couple of wee flutters so far, but I'm not doing very well either

There is an old saying 'never go back, look forward' and I've found it to be very true. I feel that if your boss took advantage before, then she will again. If you can afford not to go back then take advantage of the freedom. We were all aware of the long hours you worked.
Enjoy quaffing your champers and spending relaxed time with hubby.

Thanks Naebbirac. Its good to get everyones perspective cause frankly I was gobsmacked.

I really convinced myself that I had no value there.

Going to put it to one part of my brain and see what tomo brings. xx

Spoke to the EA this morning and if I can talk them down to a 6 week tie in we could be signing the contract tomorrow
I'm a bundle of nerves again now :o
Today the realisation set in that we could be leaving this house and moving somewhere with a smaller garden and without my nice view :(
I need a pros and cons list!

:T:T:T you will love where ever you go because will make it home, think of the extra space;)
