Dilemma of the day.
Spoke to my Bosss(ex) today. I wanted to apologise for just quitting on the spot to her, although I feel it was necessary for me, it was difficult for her.
I could have probably handled it better.
Anyway she wants me to come back. I wasnt expecting that. I have been offered any hours any days I can set my schedule.
I was really shocked and now don't know what to do ?
OH jings
Well done
The answer is simples... do you want to go back even if you can name your working pattern? and do you need to go back?:D:D:D:D

Bananababe another dilemma . When DS was small I was working in a good job hours should have been 10am til 2pm when I left I was working 8am - 7pm and not seeing DS
When I handed in notice boss said I could go back and work my hours 10-2 . I knew this would probably work for a couple weeks then he would be pestering me to do longer so i still left. So think very carefully would your boss stick to your hours or expect more ?0 -
OMG OMG OMG I've only gone and finally won a Dr O gift card.
I was too busy celebrating to see how much it was for
It's only taken me 125 non winners to get one (I'm sure it's fixed!)
1 in 126 chance of winning for me then, pffffft! :rotfl:
Well done:T I won one back in August when they were first available- the only thing is I didn't know it at the time. I had an email the following day telling me, and asking me to submit my details, I still didn't know how much it was for until the card arrived through the post 1 month later. £5 :money:0 -

Difficult one - perhaps you did do this "in haste" the other day! If you were really unhappy for some time as you've suggested, perhaps it's still time to call it a day? Especially if you have other calls on your time and money is ok. You are no doubt feeling flattered that you've been asked back on your terms, but don't go back unless you feel it's going to be better than it was..........0 -

I dont need to go back financially, there is always a road for it I guess. I dont know if I just have guilty feelings as I know it left her in a whole a bit.
Oh I dont know SSM xx0 -

Oh my. Sounds like someone has realised your true value at last
Was it the job itself or more the hours and days you were working that were stressing you so much? If it was the shifts and you don't mind the job....bite her hand off. If it was the job itself then it probably won't matter what hours you work, you'll feel the same. Good luck with whatever you decide.
And well done to you for apologising. You didn't need to. A very decent thing to do and you may just have been rewarded for it0 -

Going to have to give it some real thought. I had said my goodbyes and was super surprised to hear her say that.

She actually said she knew I found it hard to say No and that she had probably taken advantage of that. Need to see what OH thinks, he was kinda quiet after I come through. x0 -

Was mostly the hours as I was supposed to be only two shifts a week. With all the family stuff I only had one day off scheduled in three weeks. Some of the shifts were 10 to 12 hours long  Some as you guys will have noticed were 6am starts and some finished at midnight. Its hard going. x0 -
