Who buys £6 vegetable oil?:eek::eek: And a ready meal for £7?

Hmm..I can see their method, on the veg. oil, as 2 for £10.

    KTC Vegetable Oil (5L)

    Store_2.15px.png
    £6.00 any 2 for £10.00
    12p / 10p / 100ml
    Store_8.15px.png
    [Strike]£5.00[/Strike] £4.00

Still overcharged compared to Morries supposedly. Sadly, there were not enough different items on the receipt.

1 x ASDA Extra Special Tender Lamb Shanks with Mint Sa...£7.00:eek:N/A

Obviously the word "Luxury" resonates with this person:(, and sees them paying way too much IMO - these very small (100g):

    3 x ASDA Extra Special 6 Month Matured Luxury Christma...£3.00£3.75 (vs M)

Then they make their 'savings' on this, ending up buying three times over and paying far more than my average entire shopping trolley as well as losing out drastically vs Morries and Waities:

    3 x Budweiser (12x300ml)£20.00:(£30.00 (Waities even worse)

Hmm... 7 pack Mars Bar at £2.69 or 4 pack Mars Bar at £1 each?...

    ...7 pack at £2.69 obviously:eek::rotfl::wall:.

    1 x Mars Bar (7x51g)£2.69£2.75 (vs M/W) £2.00 (vs S), N/A (T)

They obviously have more money than sense. 4 pack may be vs T at £1 each, unless you wish to be shortchanged on the 7 pack version. 2 packs of 4 (=8) for £2.00 total or 7 at £2.69?!

The little girl who gave away the secret of her friend's dad/boyfriend, was so sweet, and very confident and sure of herself (but not in a spoilt way). Later she said to me 'I've got a frozen watch.'
Me, puzzled: 'A frozen watch? Do you mean put it in the fridge or the freezer?'
Little girl: 'No, silly! It's a watch, from Frozen.'
[shows me the watch with a cartoon princess on the face.]
    Me, still puzzled: 'Oh, right...'
    Little girl, as if she's explaining to a 2-year-old: 'It's a film ... aren't you a grown-up? I thought all grown-ups had seen Frozen.'
    (I still don't know the film:o)

Those I Can't Believe It's Not Butters 500g vs T at 82p were very expensive! Now 1kg versions £1.50 vs £1.40 at T:T:T. Even if I would like A to be £2.75 rather than £1.50. £1.50 was, indeed, too high. I can see why Sains. want to set their prices by expensive Mr A!
