"If you have been having a problem with parts of your touchscreen not responding, we have recently released an update that will fix this issue."
http://ttselectrical.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3768/session/L3RpbWUvMTQxODUwNDcwNC9zaWQvTGsxMUhQOW0%3D
detailed instructions, summarised from here
http://blogs.which.co.uk/technology/tablets-2/how-to-download-and-apply-the-tesco-hudl-screen-fix/
How to find and install the update
Your Hudl should automatically find the update and ask if you would like to download it. But if it doesn’t you should hit the Apps button, scroll to Settings, navigate down to About tablet (which is at the bottom of the settings menu) and then hit Hudl updates followed by Check now. Your Hudl will then scan for updates. If there’s a new one available it’ll provide the following message: "There’s a new update waiting for your Hudl, containing the following: Upgrade to Hudl version 1.3.1. This upgrade brings you all of the latest and greatest Google app updates, plus a new option in your Hudl’s Display settings that lets users reset their touch screen to improve its responsiveness if required."
All you need to do is press Download. This will update your tablet with all the latest software and fixes including the screen fix. Once it’s all downloaded the Hudl will reboot. This process may take a few minutes, especially if you have a slow internet connection.
How to apply the Tesco Hudl fix
Downloading the update is not the end of the story. The update will have placed a new button in the tablet’s Display Settings which, once activated, should resolve your frozen Hudl woes. To navigate to this start by pressing Apps, then scroll along to Settings, then Display. At the bottom of this menu is a new button that says Reset touch screen. Press it and then follow the instructions – you’ll be asked to lay the tablet flat, before pressing Reset screen. The process should take just a few seconds and should mean that you’re tablet’s freeze-free from now on.
that's what I found, I get up to date and don't have the reset button in the menu0 -
Met up with some friends and their families this afternoon, including two very chatty and inquisitive little girls. 'How old are you?' one of them asked me, and without waiting for me to reply she said very proudly 'I'm five and three-quarters'. The conversation then went something like this...
Little girl A 'Where do you live? I live in B
.'
Me: 'Oh, I've got a friend who lives there, he's called Richard.'
Little girl A: 'My dad's called Richard.'
Little girl B then leaned over and whispered to me but loud enough that everyone heard: 'He's not her dad, he's her mum's boyfriend.'

you can download the app no matter what sim you have, well I did with my Tesco sim in.
put o2 sim in launch app, you will be asked for the number of your phone, (o2 sim)
you will get a text with an activation code.
as been mentioned, the sim that gets the text don't have to be in the phone that has the app
Phone unlocked. Cheers :beer:QOC I haven't posted about it yet but I read about your career decision and I just wanted to say well done you for being so brave. Does it feel like a weight has lifted?
That's certainly how I felt about this current job approaching it's end! But it's very empowering to be in charge of what jobs you take and when so yay you.
It's a huge weight lifted. That's why I knew almost exactly how you felt, because I knew this was in the offing.
I just hope I can pull it offI can see me being a self employed typist, gardener, baker, general domestic goddess amd glitcher, just to make ends meet :rotfl:
Right now, that's just how I'd like my life to be

Yup :money:
APG goes from the original order, not what was subbed or oos.
.....Except the very rare occasion where people have had the original order plus subs on the comparison
Order at own riskI used £35 of evouchers the other day as I was doing a bigger proper shop and it's triggered some evoucher checks.
Oh is that what you had to ring about, I thought less trouting online. Apparently not. I've bought 19 different items and no there not all just 10p fillers, so in APG terms it's a pretty genuine shop from me.
I've also used £20.66 of e-vouchers0 -
Just back from dinner at a Beefeater (very MSE as my dad paid and let me claim the points)
