Last comment on the UDI's today... from me at least :rotfl:

Just about to do the online shop.

Comes to £51.50 including 10 UDI's which aren't / don't seem to be in stock at my C&C location.

So if they offer me a substitution I could reject them taking it down to £22.

Or accept them and just pay the £1 per box for the substitute?

But no matter what I choose I'll still get the APG for them?

Yes not matter what you will get apg as long as charged £1

Please can anyone with a hudl2 help, just got one and it's either the worst/least responsive touchscreen I've come across or knackered, anyone any idea? Is there any way I can set it or alter it? .

I don't have one, but it looks to be a common issue with the Hudl (and the Hudl2? Don't know, tbh), and Tesco has released an update to (hopefully) fix it....

"If you have been having a problem with parts of your touchscreen not responding, we have recently released an update that will fix this issue."
    http://ttselectrical.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3768/session/L3RpbWUvMTQxODUwNDcwNC9zaWQvTGsxMUhQOW0%3D

    detailed instructions, summarised from here
    http://blogs.which.co.uk/technology/tablets-2/how-to-download-and-apply-the-tesco-hudl-screen-fix/

How to find and install the update
Your Hudl should automatically find the update and ask if you would like to download it. But if it doesn’t you should hit the Apps button, scroll to Settings, navigate down to About tablet (which is at the bottom of the settings menu) and then hit Hudl updates followed by Check now. Your Hudl will then scan for updates. If there’s a new one available it’ll provide the following message: "There’s a new update waiting for your Hudl, containing the following: Upgrade to Hudl version 1.3.1. This upgrade brings you all of the latest and greatest Google app updates, plus a new option in your Hudl’s Display settings that lets users reset their touch screen to improve its responsiveness if required."
All you need to do is press Download. This will update your tablet with all the latest software and fixes including the screen fix. Once it’s all downloaded the Hudl will reboot. This process may take a few minutes, especially if you have a slow internet connection.
How to apply the Tesco Hudl fix
Downloading the update is not the end of the story. The update will have placed a new button in the tablet’s Display Settings which, once activated, should resolve your frozen Hudl woes. To navigate to this start by pressing Apps, then scroll along to Settings, then Display. At the bottom of this menu is a new button that says Reset touch screen. Press it and then follow the instructions – you’ll be asked to lay the tablet flat, before pressing Reset screen. The process should take just a few seconds and should mean that you’re tablet’s freeze-free from now on.

If I have read correct its the first time you have switched it on and playing up.

Have you charged it up fully ?
Have you tried turning hudl off and back on ?

If you have it sounds like you have a faulty one and I would take it back and tell Mr T
    :(
Sorry cant be much help but didn't want to read and not reply

It's the first play with it, little note with it said charge up for 3 hrs and though I usually allow things to charge untouched it said it could be switched on etc while charging. It did an update and took a while, did a restart.

Thanks for reply, I am poor with technology, will try and switch off and back on. Googled and got Tesco it support thing, has reset touchscreen and shows reset button under display which I don't have but that may just be the hudl rather than hudl2.

    Hello
Haven't been around for a couple of days, caught up with your posts.
Your poor DD thought it had all settled down for her.
    Sending you a hug xx

Thanks Claire, I hoped it was settling but it just became more subtle but just as damaging. She's out of it now thankfully x

My brain doesn't want to accept that. Because it's not logical but who cares! I'm in.
  • Do you mean this one Colin https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Arv9BPDCICFJdHE3STY0V200YldTcUlQY2g1X0t0RVE&authkey=CPfqz4oH&hl=en&authkey=CPfqz4oH#gid=0

Containing the most amazing DTD item of them all..

    10/04/2011 Tesco Finest Hand Trimmed Rack Of Lamb (0.327- kg) £8.18 £3.09 £10.18 -£2.00 0 £0 £0.00 Prepacked £25 per kg -24%

If it happened again I wouldn't be as soft as I was last time on Ts and Henlans would seem like a complete amateur.

For some of the noobies here (and old hands too) who have issues spending apgs over £10 in A, can you imagine what it was like in April/May 2011 trying to spend £90/£100 PPs in T?

    Oh, the fun we had..:rotfl:

Not forgetting the 98p a litre Baileys! I was just getting into dtd then and hammered this. Think the legs of lamb worked out under £1 too. :rotfl::rotfl:

If you don't want them just choose no subs. You can allow subs on all the other items.

    Yup :money:

APG goes from the original order, not what was subbed or oos.

.....Except the very rare occasion where people have had the original order plus subs on the comparison

Order at own risk ;) I used £35 of evouchers the other day as I was doing a bigger proper shop and it's triggered some evoucher checks.
