Thanks Claire, I hoped it was settling but it just became more subtle but just as damaging. She's out of it now thankfully x

Aww bless her, probably for the best then, she will thank you for this in the future. All we want is the best for our children, you do what's right for yours at the time. X

    Take care. Clairex

I did try this earlier tonight - attempted vs W, possibly because I have more money than sense too:rotfl::

    1 x Kellogg's Frosties (750g)£2.68N/A
    1 x Kellogg's Special K Multi-Grain Porridge Pot Origi...£0.98£0.99
    1 x Kellogg's Corn Flakes (750g)£2.00N/A
    1 x Kellogg's Special K Blueberry & Cranberry Porridge...£0.99N/A
    1 x Kellogg's Special K Apple & Cinnamon Porridge Pot ...£0.99N/A

The odd number of Porridge Pots there in order to give it a chance to glitch with the cereals (rather than, say, two porridge pots picking up 2 for 99p+half of 99p and leaving the cereals packs to compare correctly). I was trying to compare vs W's "Save 50% on any 2nd item", but it looks like because there are different prices in the offer, this works like a 3 for 2 and doesn't compare when you get the W offer number. The shopping was so "bad" that the comp. worked out "best" vs T - and even there the Corn Flakes are much more expensive! That was just due to what I bought, as on these five items vs M would have been 'best'. Oh well - anyway, I wasn't too bothered with this shopping as not bothered about whether I'd get an APG back on it or not.

So - if they are not going to play the game this way - buy the Frosties and Corn Flakes packs on mix and match in Waities, with your MyWaitrose card, and forget the porridge pots:p. (I suspect this means if you just buy the Frosties & Kellogg's Corn Flakes in A they won't compare vs W at a total of £3?)

Had everything throughout W's offer (that was in A on msm) been same individual price, I do not think there would have been any problem. However, as I was trying to test this, I wouldn't then have bought anything:rotfl:.

Glad you have got it working s12s :T:T

I have the hudl and had trouble with the first one I had but I rang Tesco direct and they replaced it with a brand new one day after and I have had no trouble with this one.

After your hudl , pc phone etc have done downloads I have learned to switch them off and back on ;)

All seems perfect now, thank you for that, hubby had not thought of turning off either, increasing frustration and what little patience I have just drained away and was ready to launch it across the room :o but now all is well :)

    I shudder to think!!!

    But seriously......

Money is good but it would be nice to give them something tangible that they can look back on and say "auntie BareySugar got us that"

I would get them something that will stand the test of time

    First photoshoot?
Hand/foot impression? (you can buy DIY kits for a few pounds so you could give one of these as well as a gift card)

And as far as the gift card goes....I would get a mothercard/ELC/or similar giftcard rather than Asda. At least that way it will definitely get spent on the baby ;)

If you decide to get the hand/foot impression tell them to do it when the kid is asleep as let me tell you from experience its a lot easier than when they are awake:o with ds3 we had that light bulb moment:)

Aau, ( and anyone else) can I ask an opinion....

I have a niece expecting her first baby soon, and I obviously want to help them with a gift of some sort. All the big items pram, cot etc have already been sorted, so should I put some money (£100) in a bank account for the baby, or should I give the parents an Asda gift card to buy nappies? How long would £100 worth of nappies last if bought by a muggle??:rotfl:

I'do be grateful for any other ideas.:T

Aldi nappies are great, I used the pampers freebies, the tiny first ones, but after that aldi all the way. Well except for the odd pampers when a voucher pops through the door and there's an offer that makes them cheap, or cc points.
