  • Aau, ( and anyone else) can I ask an opinion....I have a niece expecting her first baby soon, and I obviously want to help them with a gift of some sort. All the big items pram, cot etc have already been sorted, so should I put some money (£100) in a bank account for the baby, or should I give the parents an Asda gift card to buy nappies? How long would £100 worth of nappies last if bought by a muggle??:rotfl:
I'd be grateful for any other ideas.:T

Completely non-practical ideas but maybe a more permanent memento than nappies:)
    Dedicate a tree

choose a newly planted tree at a woodland near you, so your niece can visit and watch it grow as she does.

    Adopt a zoo animal
Most zoos have such schemes; rather cool if you can second-guess what kind of animal your niece might like ... can't go wrong with penguins, IMHO:)

For my nephew and niece I got their names inscribed in the Walk of Art at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park; when they were old enough (I hadn't told them why), I took them there and asked to find someone with the first name as them, and they finally found their own full names and the realisation...'But there's someone here with the same name as me?!?' - absolutely priceless:A

Maybe there is a similar scheme near you?

You can use 2 x the same denomination.

You can add them but the voucher total does not seem to change when you add more than one of the same value (or hasn't on my account when I have tried). But would they all be applied off the order ...?
