Details of the postal address are listed above. A mailbox. Sounds legit.
The website screams fake. Check out the 'Twitter' comments. They suggest the website design is straight from a template, used by other (likely also fake) websites (12,200 hits on Google)

They use a picture of the upcoming Apple Watch and suggest this is also a phone. It's not. It's a watch.
They are paying more for your phone than the resale costs, more they could buy the same phones elsewhere.
Their links to social media profiles lead nowhere
Links to feedback lead nowhere.

They don't exist on TrustPilot - so they are lying about even being on it.
"3 million happy customers and thousands of independent reviews" - Where are they? And that's a lot for less than 1 month of trading0 -

Got through to a nice (well nice sounding lol) man. He took me through the steps, explained the price is £350 yes but only if you have the phone in perfect condition, charger and the box. I said I didn't have the latter and he said the price would be £320 (it's unlocked btw, otherwise deduct a further £15). Anyway, they're sending a freepost bag or somesuch (similar to Mazuma I guess)....so we'll see  £305 is still a lot better than I can get elsewhere.
It's nothing like Mazuma, it's a scam, there is no way it can be anything else when they are offering more money than the average selling price these days.
Check all the usual avenues of sale, a used 5s sells for around £300, ask yourself, how is he going to make any profit paying more than the usual selling price?
There's a saying, If it's too good to be true...
But unfortunately there's another saying "there's one born every minute".
Decide which one you want to follow.====0 -
BTW forgot to mention he said to me that all of the packages and their contents can be insured for up to £500 at the post office. Is this likely to be true? And if so, how much will it cost, or will it be included as part of the freepost service? I may do it when I send the iphone 4.0

The 'insurance' will guarantee it whilst it's in the care of Royal Mail. If it gets lost in the post, you are covered.
As soon as it safely reaches the hands of the scammers, you've been done.0 -
goodfelladave wrote: »:undecided have you had bad dealings with them or something? They seemed fine on the phone. I couldn't find anything out about them online.
Their 'customer reviews' section on their website says they've had 3 million customers - it also says they have 96,000+ reviews on Trustpilot, but if you search the Trustpilot website for Phone Jackpot (with or without the space) it says 'name not found'goodfelladave wrote: »Presumably they're just a new company, hence the poster I saw that had been stuck up.
But their website says they've been open since Jan 2007
Enough 'evidence'????
Get yourself a bargepole!!!0 -
Considering you can get a new iPhone 5s directly from Apple for £459 it's unlikely that someone will pay just £100 less than that for a 2nd hand one, regardless of its condition (especially as the 1 year warranty will have likely expired).
Bit strange how Goodfelladave came on here to ask if anyone had previous dealings with this company, then proceeded to launch a staunch defence of them when people questioned its legitimacy. Advertising fail.0 -

That's a serious accusation. And in spite of being pretty new here mate, it would seem I've been here a bit longer than you and made more posts. So....:T
I've explained the problem I have with the cynicism people are showing.0 -

The registered blind can see it's a scam, now are you still interested in that bridge?Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0 -

He has a point, irrespective of his posts and time on the forum (and I think I've been here if a little longer than you, not that time on the forum matters all that much).
Your strange defence of a scam company you are trying to promote against the advice of everyone really does mark you out as a shill.
Again, just to be clear, phonejackpot.co.uk looks like a scam, and anyone who posts a phone to them is an idiot looking to lose their property to a scammer, in my opinion, stay away from them, you will very likely lose your phone.====0 -
