during the summer my son worked for 2minutedraw.com as a stop gap between jobs. big mistake!! he actually stopped working for them 12 weeks ago and hasn't been paid yet. Every time he has actually got through to his supervisors they have told him no problem your wages will be in your account by the end of the week but of course it never is. we have threatened with legal proceedings and the fact that i have been in contact with a daily newspaper to name them and to shame them but to no avail. his supervisor, jackie, never answers her phone and the other contact no. i have, dan, says payroll isn't down to him and refuses to give me details of head office. can anyone help or does anyone have any ideas. my son is't owed a fortune but that is beside the point. rather than sign on the dole he would rather work even if it was a 2bit co. like these. the two mobile no.s i have are jackie. 07514501093 and dan 07923988785. maybe if everyone could ring these nos and ask why jordan smith hasnt been paid we might get somewhere. The power of the people!!!

He has contacted his supervisors on numerous occasions to be told no worries your money will be in your account by the weekend but of course it isnt. this has been going on now for 12 weeks. none of his supervisors now answer the phone and never return voice messages. we have threatened with legal action and going to a daily national crusaders page but to no avail. wonder if anyone can help. the two numbers i have are jackie. 07514501093 and dan 07923988785. maybe everyone could give them a ring and ask why jordan smith hasnt been paid. believe me they will know who he is. any other ideas greatly fully recieved. these people need naming and shaming. hope you all can help

I entered a draw at Tenerife airport to win £3,000 as we had travelled with XL I thought we deserved a bit of luck! Club Costa called on Wednesday I was out but my husband took the call we were invited to a meeting this afternoon in London, Thankfully I found your posting and read the article from the Guardian. Brilliant. needless to say we will not be attending. Cheers

just got a phone call today from them (08009889900 is the new number). Thanks to this website I will not be taking them up on their "free" offer.

Do what I do - I've gone on 2MD a few times and (a) filled in just one phone number (mobile option) and (b) changed one of the digits so it's not my real number. It's highly unlikely that some other poor s*d is getting my calls because of the way that mobile phone numbers are allocated to each network and - hey presto! - no pesky phone calls from CLC!

Im suprised you went to the trouble of wasting the ink, i'd have left em both blank unless i felt really naughty, which case they would get an 0898 no.

Out of interest, I wonder if everyone randomly phoned the free number claiming they had won, just how many times would we get away with it, until they "cottoned" on?:D

telling me i've won a holiday

I cant remember if/when/where i would have entered this comp, but it's likely i did because i'm a competitions nut

anyway, he mentioned the company name CLC

so i've googled it and its brought me back to this thread,

i'm now supposed to ring this number:

0800 988 9904

and confirm it all, etc.

Was called last Friday 15th, number withheld, by "CLC Resorts & Hotels" (allegedly) and given
0800 988 9904 to ring with a "Code" for my "Free" holiday to "Portugal, Southern Spain or the Canaries"... oh, gosh, how exciting ....

I asked for their address and was (eventually) given...
Pembroke House, Pitsea, Basildon...

Companies House does have a company of that name - but different address..

I called them anyway (waste some of their time & money ..) Monday to see how long it took me to get the salesman to agree they are in an immoral & evil occupation & really should leave and get a decent, honest job...






(In all of these subsequent conversations I was calm & polite,.. - they weren't too bad but did get very frosty & urgent..)

Spoke to a young lady claiming to be called "Justine" in Basildon... who eventually told me about the £29:50/pp booking fee and airport taxes and that there were no other charges.... but I'd need to go to Presentation in Scotland and would be given £25 or £25 vouchers for my travel costs

She said she worked for "Club La Costa Resorts & Hotels": I pointed out Companies house had no record of such a company & that something fraudulent or dishonest must be going on, and that she should, I suggested, leave her employment forthwith & go an find an honest job.. she seemed no best pleased with this, that they had been operating for 20 years.. I pointed out CLC was only set up 3 years ago..

She said "I will put you through to my supervisor"... jolly good says I...

Justine comes wanting to give me a number of their "Head Office" - I politely declined & asked to be put through, as she had promised (I hadn't asked..) her supervisor...

Eventually I speak to a "Sharon" in Pitsea (near Basildon..) . Shazza wouldn't give me her name until I told her mine (I did..) - how shy compared to other Essex girls I've known.

She wanted to know what I wanted & what my complaint was.. I explained I didn't want anything from her, had no complaint, but that Justine had decided to put me through....

Then I asked who she worked for .. She said worked for "Club La Costa".. I asked which "Club La Costa" - She said "Club La Costa"... I then explained there were 8 "Club La Costa"s..known to Companies House, and read them out...

She said it was Promotions she worked for & she'd worked there 9 years... Odd says I they were dissolved by the authorities in 2008...

I suggested again that this all sounded very fishy & dishonest, fraudulent & immoral and she should leave her employment forthwith & find an honest job...

She didn't seem happy about this.. and kept wanting to give me "Head Office's 'phone number" - I explained I didn't want that thank you very much and was very happy talking to her...

She said she'd terminate the call - I asked did she know what Essex Trading standards thought of her company - she said she didn't know.. I suggested this was dishonest & she did know..and she should find an honest job... eventually, sadly she hung up...

Only took 23 minutes... hopefully cost them something...

Bunch of c****s, I wouldnae touch them with a barge-pole...
