Indeed I'm in the same mind as you. I think I will be looking for a heat pump of some sort myself as this property never had oil in the first place so a tank siting is difficult. However, I am frustrated at the choice I made of pellet boiler...

I'm paying £285.60 per tonne from Swift Energy, delivery is about 10 days, but the pellets are fine. £350 per tonne seems very expensive.

Just bought some Verdo Euro Value from Verdo. Price was not as low as 2016/17 but not bad compared with last winter. Service & delivery were good too.

Just wondered if anyone knows whats happened to the the prices on the Wood Pellet Guide? I got no reply to messages.

They seem to have firmed up. I have just ordered 6 tons (bulk) at £260 the most I have ever paid. Could have bought from Balcas at 250 but decided to try pelletdelivery.co.uk because they are supposed to have less dust. Think with all the Brexit uncertainty I would get them in just in case!

I'm not sure, but the price comparison has been down for a couple of months and there's been no activity on their social media feeds. I fear that they're gone.

The other comparison site, whose name escapes me just now, also shut up shop late last year, so woodpelletguide was the last remaining comparison resource. I do hope they return.

With the demise of the woodpelletguide website, I have had to collect my own pricing for bagged pellets, apologies for the strange formatting, it does not appear possible to construct a table in the forum.

Weight is for a full pallet, first price is per pallet, second is per tonne, it is sorted by the tonne price and only includes suppliers prices under £300 per tonne
