    Hi jwebber86,
Welcome to the forum and thanks for your input.
As I said in my Original Post "I have found many of the answers but would stress that these are my answers and could be wrong. Help with the missing answers/any corrections would be appreciated"

Having looked at the Test match start days again I see you are correct that many of the early matches did start on a Monday. I must have been looking cross-eyed at the Calendar. As I have eliminated all the other days except Tuesday it would seem that you are correct. Thanks for this.

With regard to who has scored the most first-class runs in the 21st Century, I have been unable to find a single specific source for this information and this was just my opinion based on a whole lot of different reports. If you have more specific information or even a different opinion we would be glad to hear it and check it out. Even a few good options would be very helpful.
  • >> 35. Which batsman/bowler combination has produced the most runs in Test cricket?
    Answer: ??

If we are talking about most runs scored by a batsman off a particular bowler in their Test careers, it is Sangakkara off Ajmal.

For a single innings, it is Chris Gayle who scored 143 out of his 333 off the bowling of Suraj Randiv.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the suggestion.
I was reading this as which batsman and bowler while batting together have produced the most runs. Your interpretations may be better than mine??
  • Re most fc runs in the 21st century, from 2001 season (sic - not Jan 1, 2001), Ramprakash has 16611 and Sangakkara 15275. If you start from 2000 season, Ramps is 17994 and Sanga 15887. Ramprakash is a probable answer but Sangakkara is definitely not the answer.
  • Mike Hussey has 17401 from 2001 and 18006 from 2000. But I feel too lazy to check the stats since Jan 1 for him and Ramprakash .. :)

That's great thanks. Can I ask where you are getting the figures from?
I think my figures for Sangakkara were probably test runs rather than fc.

Brilliant, thanks. I'll take a look later, bit busy just now.
