  • Modern Astons, Bentleys etc are vulgar "new money" football player/ lottery winner type things. Yes I don't disagree they are engineering and handling masterpieces over the previous incarnations, but the old stuff is far far cooler.

    Modern Astons, Bentleys etc are vulgar "new money" football player/ lottery winner type things. Yes I don't disagree they are engineering and handling masterpieces over the previous incarnations, but the old stuff is far far cooler.

    I agree, the Vantage with the blanked off grille was my dream car when I was a teenager.

    Jag XF-R (like the new hatchback with a mental engine in it...)

    My wife thinks im old before my time being 29 but i really want a Jag XF, think they are stunning cars, and british built!

    With £125 I would have many cars, but being pinned to one, I think you're all being quite sensible.
    I'd love a Ferrari or something, but they're not very practical (try a multi storey car park), so an M5 (V10), or E63 v8 beast, Audi S8, S6 etc ( maybe estates) is about all you can ask of one car...
